About this tournament

The inaugural Ninigret Turkey Trot will be a 2-round C-tier held on Sunday, November 23! This may well be the last sanctioned event in the area for this season, so come get a couple of cold rated rounds! In addition to being a sanctioned tournament, it will be a benefit to the Westerly Warm Shelter! (More details on this below.) Because the focus is on donations, this will be a no frills tournament (no trophies, small player pack, etc.)

The 1st place finisher in each division with 3 or more players will receive a turkey! Yes, you read that right! The trophy is a frozen turkey that you can bring home for Thanksgiving the following week! Turkeys will be graciously donated by The UPS Store of Narragansett!

Westerly Warm Shelter Benefit
There will be a canned goods drive as part of your registration. This is technically optional, however, I would strongly urge that everyone please bring at least 1 canned goods items, or 1 piece of cold weather clothing to drop off at check-in as part of your registration. For each additional canned item/clothing item that you bring, there will be a table of used discs from which you can select an item! PLEASE NOTE: Clothing items must be NEW with tags still on them for me to accept them.

We will also hold a 50/50 raffle, 1/2 of the proceeds from which will go directly to the Westerly Warm Shelter.

Pass Through Fees
PDGA Per Player Fee - $3
Course Donation - $1 (Being waived by the course and passed on to The Westerly Warm Shelter.)
TD Fee - $3 (Any of this left over after covering expenses will also be donated to The Westerly Warm Shelter.)
Total Pass Through Fees - $7

Player Packs
I wanted to keep registration fees on the lower side, so the player pack will be small, a $10 credit to Disc Golf 978.

Payouts
Pro division will play for cash payouts via PayPal (Please be sure to register using the email address associated with the PayPal account you wish to be paid through to ensure prompt payment.)
Ams will play for store credit through Disc Golf 978

Layouts
We will be playing only 1 layout for the entire day across all divisions, which will be the Old Glory layout that was used for the SNEDGO Freedom Flex, as well as Round 3 for RI States. That is, traditional R/W/B rotation from hole 1, with holes 3, 12, and 15 being played as par 4s.
