About this tournament

Welcome to the Heartland Cup
You will need a Team of 4
$25 event fee
$100 per team
Player A - 935+
Player B - 900-934
Player C - 851-899
Player D - 0-850
If you don’t have a pdga rating message Derek on discgolfscene for the latest pdga rating.
Classification professional will be Player A
Classification Amateur will be Player B
You can play up for your team but not lower.
Teams will be randomly assigned a Pod A or B after spots are filled up
For example
1,3,5,6 and 2,4,7,8
Teams will play against other teams in the pod 2 weeks per team at the designated course
3 different teams in pod.
Format - best shot doubles
You pick your team to go against your opponent
So for example you can pick your AB,AC or AD to go against your opponent the other two players would be against the players who hasn’t completed in the first matchup. Any player can’t compete on both matchups.
If your team wins they will receive 3 points
If your team ties with your opponent each team will receive 1 point.
A loss is 0
After 6 weeks of play
Top 2 team in each pod advance (if tied in pod the most birdies advances)
Semi-finals at Radcliff
The top team in pod A will compete against the second place of pod B
Also
The top team in Pod B will compete against the second place in Pod A
There will be no ties here (if tied in pod the most birdies advances)
Winners advance to the championship at Meade Olin
Top 2 teams get paid out
1st 50% of entry fees ($400 per team - $100 per player)
2nd 35% of entry fee ($280 per team - $70 per player)
Heartland will receive 15% to upgrade courses in the area ($120)
Trophy to Team Winner!
Any refunds will be subject to $5 fee
