Here's our big news for 2025 bag tags.
The Kentuckiana Series!
GET YOUR TAG NOW FOR THE LOW COST OF $15!
We are teaming up with the SoIn club to run a bag tag point series with 8 events over 8 different courses (1/2 sanctioned 1/2 unsanctioned). The top 30% in points of each division will play in the finals at the one and only Arrowhead DGC. We will have all the details regarding the series posted soon.
A $15 Kentuckiana tag gets you 100% ace pot payout at all Derby City Disc Golf & SoIn leagues. It also allows you to earn points for the Kentuckiana Series.
-A chance to take part in our Kentuckiana point series that we're hosting with the SoIn club.
-100% of the ace pool when bought into it at all DCDG & SoIn leagues.
-Free entry into our yearly "Thank you" PDGA tournament at Iroquois DGC.
-10% discount on all DCDG swag we'll sell during 2025.
-All the profits from the tags or swag help us run bigger events with better payouts and help improve the courses under our umbrella that you all love. We also budget to donate a set amount of money each year to other events we aren't running.
We'll also have some hoodies and hats for sale next month to help raise money for a big event we have planned for 2025!
Note: We will have women tags again since all our events will have women divisions.
The Kentuckiana Series Presented By Derby City Disc Golf & SoIn Disc Golf.
This series will be 8 unique events plus a final event for the top 30% of each division.
The following divisions will be offered at all 8 events.
MPO & FPO
MA1 & FA1
MA2 & FA2
MA3 & FA3
4 of the 8 events will be PDGA C-tiers.
Entry fee breakdown:
-PDGA events
-$20 for current PDGA members (+$15 for non PDGA members)
-$3 PDGA Fee
-$2 Kentuckiana Series Final Payouts
-$1 Host Club
-$14 Event Payouts
-Non PDGA events
-$15 Entry Fee
-$2 Kentuckiana Series Final Payouts
-$1 Host Club
-$12 Event Payouts
All pros will be paid out via Venmo or PayPal and all AMS will be paid out via Bang-A-Chain store credit which can be used in person or at Bangachain.com. The finals will pay out Venmo or PayPal to all divisions.
Bang-A-Chain will also provide a free lunch for the finals, this will not come out of the payouts.
Points:
Each player will receive an extra 20 points for each event they play in. You will earn points each event based off your score compared to the entire feild. All divisions will play the same layout for each event since points will be based off everyone's score. You must have a Kentuckiana Series tag before the start of an event to be able to earn points for that event. You don't need a Kentuckiana Series tag to play in any of the events, but you won't be able to earn points for the finals without one.
Divisions:
You can only move up a division and keep your points. If you decide to move down a division, you will forfeit all the points you have earned besides the 20 you receive just for playing an event.
Finals:
The top 30% in points for each division will receive an invite to the finals. The cost of the finals will be $10 with all the money going into the final's payout. Everyone in the finals will receive a payout.
