About this tournament

Your favourite tournament that started as a joke returns for a third year! Baerg's Bergs and Burgs ("BBB") is a one-day, two-round, Bergs-only (including Berg Xs) unsanctioned disc golf tournament played on a pop-up course in a City of Saskatoon park, featuring a local restaurant-provided burger lunch between rounds.

This year, we are pleased to partner with Goblin's Grill! Goblin's will be serving each player their choice (double beef, chicken, or veggie) of Goblin's Rink Burger with cheese, preferred toppings and extras served on a grilled Goblin's bun, or gluten-friendly letruce wrap. All players will also have their choice of chips and a can of pop or bottle of water, along with a 4 oz shaker of Globlin's Secret Spice, and a Goblin's patch, button, and sticker to take home--altogether worth >$27 retail before tax and tip. Additional meals (such as for significant others / family / caddies) will be available for purchase on site from Goblin's.

All players (including pro divisions) will also receive a truly unique player's pack item from our swag sponsor Krispy Designs: a 3D-printed miniature desktop basket game--with lettering, chains, and mini discs that glow in the dark. As far as we know, this doesn't exist anywhere else in the world! It would likely retail for more than the cost of registration by itself.

Notes about pricing and divisions: I increased prices this year to account for the better players packs and cover event costs. Any proceeds remaining after expenses (including park rental, basket rental, and insurance) will be used to purchase draw prizes, hole contest prizes, and/or additional division prizes (am) or put towards pro payouts, all in proportion to division size. Because this is an unsanctioned tournament and pro players receive the same player's pack as amateurs, the $20 difference in registration cost between pro and am divisions will go exclusively to the pro cash pot up for grabs.

The event date of Sunday, August 24 was selected to allow players to also participate in The Crickle Creek Doubles Classic the day before: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/The_Crickle_Classic_2025
