About this tournament
Are you a true disc golf warrior? Do you have what it takes to play 4 rounds of disc golf in one day? If so, the Steady Ed Ironman is the perfect event for you!
In the wake of the logging project inside Wildwood Park, the IDGC is down to one course for now. But we didn’t want to let that break up the tradition of hosting an Iron Man event at the IDGC. So, for this event players will tackle 4 different layouts of the beautiful “Steady” Ed Headrick Memorial Course in one day!
RPA will be the only division competing for cash and will not receive a players pack. All other divisions will receive a $20 voucher to the IDGC pro shop as their players pack. We will also be doing amateur payout, which will be pro shop vouchers as well.
We realize that the water carries on holes 5, 12, and 13 may be too long for some players. With this in mind, we will allow players to proceed directly to the drop zone at the cost of two penalty throws. If you choose this option, you will start the hole from the drop zone (short tee) throwing your third shot.

We will be providing water and snacks. But we would also recommend that you pack a lunch. This is set up to be a long day of disc golf, and we want everyone to have the energy they need to make it through!
