Welcome to the 2024 Putt Pirates Invitational!
No better place for Putt Pirates around the WORLD to demonstrate their skills, learn how to play in a tournament, or even just see their fellow Putt Pirates. This tournament is 3 rounds of 18 hole disc golf. We will be playing at 3 different courses between each round. All divisions will be playing at the same course each round. This will be a "shotgun" start. When checking in for each round, you will be given a starting hole.
Round 1 (Aug 31st)
- Location: Walnut Ridge Recreation Area, Site 02, Johnston IA
- Player's Meeting Time: 9:00 AM
- Tee Time: 9:15 AM

Round 2 (Aug 31st)
- Location: Grandview Park, Des Moines IA
- Player's Meeting Time: 2:30 PM
- Tee Time: 2:45 PM

If you don't know which division you belong in, please contact us and we can help you. The divisions this year are:
- WMN: Women's
- BEG: Mixed Beginner's (For all new to disc golf, get a feel for for the game in a tournament setting)
- INT: Mixed Intermediate (You know the game but are working on your consistency and decision making)
- ADV: Mixed Advanced (Your confident hitting fairways off the tee and regularly make your C1 putts)
- M40: Mixed Master's (40 & Up)
- JR: Mixed Junior's (18 & Under)
- Plays for free!
- NCOM: Non-Competitive
- Does not play for a trophy and is exempt from raffle.
- Cheaper registration.
- If you can't attend all 3 main rounds.
- For people who don't want to compete and save money!
- MRCH: Merch Order
- Sign up in this division to order merch/donate only.
- Does not play for a trophy and is exempt from raffle.
- VOL: Volunteer
- Does not play for a trophy.
- Will be provided raffle tickets for helping.
Registration and Prizes
This tournament does NOT pay money to its winners. With that being said, registration fees contribute to these rewards and services (in order):
- Each division's winner will receive a 2024 Putt Pirates Invitational Trophy. Does not apply to NCOM
- An event shirt!
- Reservations of the various park locations if necessary.
- Necessary supplies will be provided for the event. Things such as, but not limited to water and snacks.
- A provided lunch between Round 1 and Round 2 at Walnut Ridge Park Shelter 2.
- Lastly, all excess registration money will be going back to the players via purchased raffle prizes. Does not apply to NCOM
Raffle Information
If you registered in any division other than MRCH or NCOM, you will receive 10 tickets. These 10 tickets can be entered in any of the prepared raffles at Round 1, Round 2, or at the Player's Party. At the Player's Party on August 31st, we will draw the winners for each prize. The raffle prizes will consist of donations from fellow Putt Pirates, and all of the remaining proceeds will be used to supply prizes.

BYOP Best Disc Glow Round
We will be hosting a for free, unrelated to your registration or the event, glow round. On August 30th, Friday night, bring your own partner (BYOP) and compete in some glow golf at our very own Putt Pirate's Private Course!
