Update 10/28/24: the layout to be used for the event is now live on Tower Ridge's UDisc page as "Space Race Safari!" If you would like to preview the layout, feel free! Please note that nonexisting basket, tee, island, and mando locations are currently only marked by flags in person.

The MVP Space Race is back at Tower Ridge! The Space Race is a nighttime glow event featuring a two disc player pack on a modified layout combining both the Tiki and Main Courses at Tower. Rather than the traditional ace-race "points" format, scoring will be done via true stroke play on UDisc using only the player pack.

The player pack contains the first release of the Total Eclipse Crave (6.5 / 5 / -1 / 1) and the brand new Eclipse Range from Streamline (2 / 1 / -0.5 / 1), a solo-mold (non-overmold) thumbtrack throwing putter! The Range is a point-and-shoot putter with minimal glide - think of it as a straighter Berg with a shallower handfeel.

Your $45 covers greens fees, glow materials to set up the Safari layout, and the player pack - a $50 value for the two special edition Eclipse 2.0 discs!

Safari layout details to come! The course will start on what is currently Tiki hole 10 and work it's way over to the Main Course's 18. Some holes will be unchanged, some will be combined, and some will be brand new! The course will have a number of ace runs for the Range as well as some open bombs to take advantage of the Crave. Expect some mandos and islands, as well!

Expect to start as soon as it is dark (rough estimate 6pm) - depending on registration numbers, this will either be a shotgun start or staggered tee times starting at the front of the Safari course.
