About this tournament
All players will be playing four rounds, two at each course, with different layouts for the different pools at Kincaid and everybody trying to thread it through the trees at Peters Creek. See the schedule for divisional breakdowns and course assignments for the two pools (with a maximum of 72 players each). If you wish to play in a smaller division that is not offered on this registration page contact us and we will seek to work with you.
Pros are playing for money, of which we hope there will be a fair amount (help out by buying one or more of the swanky Innova CFR discs).
All Amateur players will be receiving a hefty players pack with Innova discs (have you heard about the Gorgon?) and other quality schwag, some fine items from local Alaskan small businesses, and a Whale Sac grip bag with a unique local twist. Top finishers in the Amateur divisions will also be awarded trophies.
Pro cash payouts will be determined after deducting costs which will include the course fees, sanctioning and insurance, and fees of $2/player to the PDGA. If you are not a current PDGA member there will be an additional $10 "Non-PDGA member" fee.
All withdrawals and refunds will be handled in accordance with the PDGA Refund Policy (1.03). See link: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103
CFR discs for sale? You bet and they are sweet: Proto Glow Champion Gorgons, Halo Champion Destroyers, and Pearl Champion Toros. Thank you Innova for hooking us up.
Thanks go to all of the members of the Anchorage Disc Golf Association, SteamDot Coffee, Phillips Cruises, INNOVA Champion Disc Golf, Disc Golf Values, Denali Dreams Soaps, Alaska Glacier Seltzers, the Trickster Company, Moose Pretzel Disc Golf, the Homer Brewing Company, Follow The Star United Church of Christ church (Anchorage), A Pie Stop, and some other friends and sponsors soon to be named. If you or your company would like to help sponsor States let us know; there are several tiers available that can promote your business, club or gathering.
Thanks also to Anchorage Parks and Rec and their important work in the Municipality.
If you have any questions feel free to ask them. We hope to see you the weekend of August 9-11.
The TDs,
Chad Rutledge and Bill Maury-Holmes
