MDGO GOLD Feature Event on the 2023 Disc Baron Series!

Two rounds of 18 holes featuring Beauty and either The Beast or Goliath! This is the same layout used for the 2022 and 2023 Michigan State Championship.

There will be $750 added cash to pro divisions. Pros and pools will be paid via PayPal that evening.

Pool A (MP40, MA1) will play Beauty then Goliath. Pool B will play Beast then Beauty.

Beauty: 1-2, 4-5, 7-12, 14-20, 24
Beast: 1-4, 7-8, 10-17, 21-24
Goliath: 1-3, 6, 8, 9, 11-17, 19, 21-24

There is an optional $5 50/50 CTP and $5 Ace Pool. If there are no aces during the event, the winner of the Ace Pool Tie Breaker CTP (during your Beauty round) will be awarded 100% of the money. All aces split equally. The Disc Baron Ace Bounty is live! Be sure to film your drive on the Beauty bounty #2 hole and pay your $2 to win $250 in Disc Baron credit!

There is a no-deduction player package donated to all registered players from Disc Baron and MCDGO. No deduction means there is no money deducted from payouts which is typically the case at most events.

A minimum of three players one day prior is required for any Mixed division. We will make any Junior or Lady’s division. All divisions established one week out will have trophies on-site. Any divisions formed after shall receive their trophy by mail.

We are raffling off a Chainstar Lite along with other goodies! Tickets are $5 each and can be bought at registration or on site. Drawing on Sunday.

Bruce's Bad Ass BBQ will be on site to have some hot lunch at the course. Cash payments only.

The 2023 Disc Baron Series is a season-long points series. Players are awarded points based on placement at each event. The top players in each division are rewarded at end of the season.

We will NOT be using PDGA Live Scoring as the official scorecard for the event due to lack of coverage. However, if you are able to start the live scoring you do not need to keep service the entire round for the score to finalize. Paper scorecards shall be readily available. UPDATE - We had pretty good signal at the AJ at the pavilion!

We follow PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawals & Refunds for all registered players. 100% Refund minus $10 handling fee and any DGS/Paypal fees. After May 26 at midnight: no refund, your entry will be added to the payouts

We DO NOT follow PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawals & Refunds for Waitlisted Players.
Refunds will be issued for players still on the waitlist at midnight the night before the event. Please do not come to the event as the field has been locked. No exceptions will be made.
**If you do not get into the event from the waitlist, we issue a full refund minus any DGS/PayPal fees.

Please be aware of any and all PDGA Rules of Play and the PDGA Competition Manual. You must be a PDGA Member to play in this event as it is a B-Tier for all players.
