About this tournament

The Trilogy Challenge is coming back to Lebanon at South Hills on Saturday, August 13th, 2022. The format for this event will be slightly different this year. The morning will be a 1 round singles event. The afternoon will feature a 1 round doubles event. The 2 years I ran a Trilogy Challenge prior was all 2 round singles event. Splitting the event into singles and doubles ultimately gives more players the chance to sign up.

Each player will receive the following player's pack:

3 discs:
Latitude 64 Gold Burst Saint | Speed: 9 Glide: 7 Turn: -1 Fade: 2
Westside Discs VIP Ice Tursas | Speed: 5 Glide: 5 Turn: -2 Fade: 1
Dynamic Discs Prime Burst Agent | Speed: 2 Glide: 3 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
- a reversible DD mini
-DD Towel

The 3 discs received are the only discs you can use during the round. None of the discs are new molds (Agent released earlier this year) but the Saint has been unavailable for a long time and the Tursas will be avaliable in Ice plastic.

The top 3 of each division will receive a payout. 1st place team will receive a trophy disc for each player, $25 DD gift card or another players pack, and a $25 Just Playing Disc Golf merch credit. 2nd place team will receive a $20 DD online gift card and a $20 JP merch credit. 3rd place team will receive a $10 DD online gift card and a $10 JP merch credit. Two CTPs will be available during the round. Winners of those will receive either a $20 gift card to DD or $10, depending on what hole is the CTP. An ace pot will be available for the event. If it is not hit, a post-round CTP will be held for someone to take half the pot home. Also, one team will be drawn at random to receive a $50 JP merch credit for each player. Every team is eligible to win!

This event will play standard doubles play (best shot) for the whole round.
