"Hey everyone. First off, thank you all for your patience in this transitioning phase. Dave expressed interest in my involvement and taking over this event for him moving forward. This is my first NADGT TD experience and I hope to bring you all the level of playing experience that you get at all my Adrenaline Heaven tournaments. We are very excited to see the demand for this tournament. December 9, 2021, we had a total of 72 players which was a full field at that time. The field doubled by December 29th to 144 and now we are nearing 200 competitors. We are at a loss of words and thank you all for your support.

Let us get right to the details of the weekend. We know that is what matters to you all!

Schedule
Saturday schedule has been revised. We have moved up starting time to better accommodate the larger playing field. We want to make sure there is enough time for everyone to complete their rounds.
It is posted on the event registration page, DiscGolfScene. Tee assignments are posted in the event bio in bold. We will have all three courses going at once, both days. Saturday is two rounds of shotgun start. Sunday will be tee times for all pools. Dave, Scotty-O, and I will send you off on hole 1, at your starting time, on Sunday.

Layouts
Ed is in “the Steady Ed layout” and Warner is in the original layout. Jackson is Jackson so everyone knows what to expect there.

Practice and early check in
Friday your practice round is covered with your green fees. You can check in at the pro shop. They can verify you are registered so your daily green fees are waived. Dave will be at IDGC, on Friday, from 2pm-5pm for early check in. Go get your practice in and check in early. It will be a big help for those that can check in early. Thanks

Live Scoring
Official scoring will use PDGA LIVE scoring. Access code is: ________. Paper scorecards will be available inside the pro shop for those wanting paper as a backup. Please make sure you submit your scores after each round. It is the cards responsibility to make sure scorecards are submitted after completion of your round.

Course Rules
All course rules are in live scoring. If there is a discrepancy with a ruling, PLAY A PROVISIONAL AND WE WILL DISCUSS IT AFTER THE ROUND.

Lunch
Lunch is provided for all competitors on Saturday. I will be preparing pulled pork sandwiches, vegetarian/vegan hash & rice, chips, and a drink. I will have the Recteq trailer set up near the pavilion. Come see me after you complete round 1.

Course/Permit fees
Greens fees is $5 per player. IDGC will have water on the course. The inside restrooms are off limits (per IDGC staff). Greens fees does not cover restrooms. We had to pay for those out of the “course/permit fees” from your registration. As we want to be transparent, I wanted you aware of what your money is paying for. There will be additional portable toilets on the property to accommodate everyone for this event.

Ladies and gentlemen, this has been a transitioning year as I’m working with Dave and NADGT with this event. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as some details have taken longer to finalize. Just know that your playing experience is always my utmost concerns. I want you to have fund and enjoy yourself. WE want you to enjoy yourself. That is what competitive disc golf is all about, having fun!

Is the FA1 division able to qualify for nationals if there is only one participant? We may have a woman signing up today based on the ability to qualify for nationals.

Dave and I are speaking on the phone today. No emails have went out. Ed is in the steady Ed layout and Warner is in the OG. Everyone will be emailed with more information tomorrow.

Henry, has there been an announcement regarding pin positions? I’ve never played the courses before but watching video coverage of the steady Ed course it looks like there are short and long basket locations. I’m in pool A and I know we’re using the long tees but wasn’t sure about the baskets. Is it A, B, or a mixture? Thanks!

For the TD… The MA60 group of 2 has not been contacted with option of withdrawing or moving down to MA50. We still show up in the MA60 division. What decision are you going to make regarding our playing status ?? Thanks.

Based on this text:
“ Eligible for Nationals Invites
MA1, FA1, MA40, FA40+, MA50+, MA2 and FA2
Top Finishers Get invite to National Championships!”
Am I to assume then that even if I won MA3 that I wouldn’t get an invite to the championship? If that is the case I would kinda like to be moved up to MA2.
