About this tournament

2022 Maple City Ice Bowl is an official ICE BOWL NO WIMPS - NO WHINERS fundraiser for The Window Food Pantry in Goshen.

This is a PDGA sanctioned XC-Tier doubles tournament. Teams will play two rounds of 24 holes at Ox Bow County Park disc golf sanctuary in Goshen, Indiana.

The Maple City Ice Bowl is an approved PDGA Competition Endowment Program charity event. This year's goal is $30,000. Contact the TD to learn more about making a tax-deductible contribution or sponsoring the event.

We will be using PDGA live scoring for this event. Each group will also have a paper scorecard as a backup to the digital application.

CTP prizes for all divisions. Optional Ace Fund and 50/50 Cash CTP.

FORMAT
Two rounds of Best Shot. 48 holes.

PAYOUTS
Pro Divisions - Cash payout. Trophy for first place.
Amateur Divisions - This is a trophy only event and fundraiser for The Window Food Pantry in Goshen.

Any pros wishing to play for cash payouts must compete in the GOLD division. Pros wishing to play as amateurs may do so in the appropriate division but will only receive merchandise (trophy) as a payout.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
There are only 96 spots (48 teams) available for this event. Players may registered for a division that is full and will be put on the waitlist to fill available spots as they open. Check back periodically for updates in the event comments section.

RATINGS
This will be run as a ratings-based event. Both team members must play in a division applicable to their current PDGA rating. You may play "up" but you may not play "down" a division. Player rating classifications will be strictly enforced. You will be moved to the appropriate division should your December rating affect your division registration at the time. Refund policy

Friends of Ox Bow is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Teams who officially request to withdraw prior to December 13, 2021 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 handling fee.

Teams who officially request to withdraw between December 14 and December 31, 2021 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 handling fee ONLY if there spot can be filled from the waitlist. If the team's spot is NOT filled through the waitlist the player will receive a 50% cash refund.

Teams who officially request to withdraw from the event between January 1 and January 6, 2022 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the team's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% cash refund.

Teams who do NOT officially request to withdraw from playing in the event, do not show up for the event, or try to withdraw after January 6, 2022 (which is our drop date) forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player pack. Round times and divisions are set using the registration list as of this date, so there are no exceptions to this rule. If you have questions please contact the tournament director.
