2022 Down Under Invitational (DUI)

This is a non-sanctioned, throw-back event that has been a cult classic if you will of tournaments in KC. It's a non-sanctioned, not fancy, and a little bit weird, but most importantly, it's played on one of Kansas City's most unique courses, the Down Under.

To be officially invited, you have to have a good attitude and be willing to relax while attending this event. We are all there to win money but I really run these relaxed events to get away from the rigors of every day PDGA event. We also ask that you are at least 18+ years old to sign up. The course can be dangerous and we want to make sure you can make decisions on your own if something were to unfortunately happen. Everyone will be required to sign a waiver before playing. It is Play at your own risk!

• This is a NON-SANCTIONED event with non-traditional divisions.
• It's designed to be FUN, while also following the basic rules of disc golf.

March 19, 2022
Round 1 Tee Time - 9:30 am
Round 2 Tee Time - Approx. 1 hour after the last card is officially summited

This event will have 2 rounds of 18 holes down under, rain or shine!

Player Cap at 72 people, so get signed up early if you want to attend. You must signup through disc golf scene. All registrations and payouts will be done through PayPal or Venmo. Thank you for understanding.

There might be trophies for 1st place in each division. I mean, it could happen.

DIVISIONS
Open- It is open to everyone who wants to play!
Pro Women- Any woman who wants to play!
Old Men (50+)- A division for old men. There is NO 40+ division. Please sign up for Open. These old guys need a little break from you young kids.
Am Men & Am Women- These division combine the traditional intermediate and advanced divisions.
Beginner- This division is for those recreational and novice players who may be leery of competition and want to dip their feet in the water.

*NOTE: There will not be any divisions added. Please find a place where you fit in if you want to play. TD will move anyone who does not fit in a certain division at his discretion.

Also, I'm working on getting a beer sponsor for the event. If that happens you will need to be 21+ to imbibe.

Dick Parker is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. All refund requests must be submitted by March 17, 2022 in order to receive a full refund. All refund requests after that day will be charged a $15 refund fee.
