About this tournament
Central FL Youth Disc Golf, aka, CFly Disc Golf is hosting the inaugural CFLY Classic Junior Championships as a grand finale event following our first ever youth-focused 6-week PDGA sanctioned league for the 2022 spring season.
CFLY Disc Golf was founded to establish the first official organized juniors only disc golf program in the Central Florida area. Our mission is to establish more youth-focused disc golf events and educational programs to help develop future disc golfers in our area. This tournament will be 1 round (shotgun start) for pre-teen divisions (MJ/FJ08, MJ/FJ10, MJ/FJ12) and 2 rounds (shotgun start) for teenaged divisions (MJ/FJ15, MJ/FJ18).
Each player will receive a player's pack valued over $25. Contents to be announced soon!
True Amateur trophy only format. No merchandise payout.
CTP prizes available for every division!
30 minute pro clinic before round 1.
Lunch will be provided for all players at the conclusion of round 1. Parents will have the option of purchasing lunch for $5.
Raffle tickets will be available for lots of cool disc golf merchandise at the conclusion of each awards ceremony. Each player will get 1 free raffle ticket and additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 3 for $10.
PDGA membership not required but encouraged.
Live Digital Scoring will be used for this event. Instructions will be provided along with paper scorecards as a backup.
There will be different layouts for different divisions including temporary short tees for an extra short layout for divisions: FJ12, FJ10, FJ8, MJ10, MJ8.
