Welcome to the 2022 Algoma Ice bowl Co-presented by the St. Joseph Island Disc Golf Club & Sault Disc Golf Association.
The 2022 Algoma Ice Bowl is a Disc Golf Event with a mission to increase local awareness of disc golf by raising funds for local and regional charities, with an emphasis on fighting food insecurity in the Algoma Region. The event will be played at the Mountainview Disc Golf Course on the Family Friendly Orchard Loop.
The format of the event with be 18 holes of Random Draw Doubles followed by 18 holes of Singles stroke play. In addition, we will be rewarding mulligans (bonus shot max of 4 per player) for donation of canned goods or monetary donation. 1 Mulligan cost 1 canned good. Mulligans can also be purchased 4 mulligans for $5.00.
This years ice bowl is aiming to raise $300 and roughly 50 lbs of canned food. All proceeds raised will be donated to the St Joseph Island and Area Food Bank.
