I just got off the phone with the PDGA and had to make some updates(This is my first multi-day event as a TD, bear with me) and had to split the event to make sure everything goes smoothly.

You may see some differences soon in the event information on the PDGA website since the split. I am currently working on this during my down time at my day job, so please be patient with me as I work on all of these necessary changes and updates. Groups and tee times will be available this evening for those teeing off on Saturday.

Groups/tee times will be made official on Saturday, with some updates Sunday morning for some players who are trying to wait until the absolute last minute. This does in fact create headaches for me. I need you all to know that. But I've been through enough on this tour and gained enough knowledge to know how to accommodate the "last minute" type of players. I will do what I can, but if at any point I am uncomfortable with honoring your request to enter the event last minute, you MUST take no for an answer. Registration has been live for 2 months.

Expect your Saturday tee times to fall between 8am and 10am for Round 1. I will solidify this information once registration closes at 4pm today.

New Horizon Christian School will be selling sandwiches and chips on site on Saturday for the AMs, but is unable to be there on Sunday.

Thank you all for supporting the tour, and I appreciate all of you. I recognize that my wording on these messages is very blunt and matter-of-fact. This is because I need everyone to know that I mean what I say. I'm a people pleaser. I will try to help you and accommodate you in any way possible. But the stress of running events is incredibly great(and has taken its toll on me and my family for too long), and I need all players to recognize that when I say enough is enough, I mean it.

Thankfully, everyone thus far has been extremely understanding. I love all of you for it. You understand that this is harder than it should be, and is a thankless job.

One final note before the emails go out this evening for the Day 1 Player's Meeting: Inclement weather policies will be in effect. Day 1 is looking to be wet for a good chunk. This also means increased humidity. There will be plenty of water at Tournament HQ, take whatever you need. More details about what to do should we see lightning and heavy wind will be contained in the email.

OB listings are going to be fairly Lax for this event.

CHAMP SIDE OBs
1- On/Over road is OB
2- No OB
3- No OB
4- No OB
5- No OB
6- No OB
7- In or Over the Creek is OB(this includes left of the fairway). The edges of the creek are NATURALLY DEFINED. What this means is that if the disc comes to rest completely surrounded by water, or You cannot take a safe stance behind the disc due to the "slope of the terrain," you are Out of Bounds. Take relief 1 meter from where the disc l ... more

7- In or Over the Creek is OB(this includes left of the fairway). The edges of the creek are NATURALLY DEFINED. What this means is that if the disc comes to rest completely surrounded by water, or You cannot take a safe stance behind the disc due to the "slope of the terrain," you are Out of Bounds. Take relief 1 meter from where the disc left play. There is a low spot of the creek to the right of the bridge where you are able to take safe footing/mark your lie. If the disc comes to rest in that area and is NOT completely surrounded by water, the lie is in bounds. This saves me paint during an event where I'm already very negative financially. PLEASE give me feedback on this. I have struggled to find a fair wording for this without buying 3 businesses out of paint for that creek line.
8- In or Over the creek in any capacity is OB. The Creek is NATURALLY defined, just like on 7. There is no amount of wordplay here that can save your bad shot. If you and your card mates are unsure whether or not the lie is OB, send me a picture to determine ruling, and play a provisional. That's what I'm here for. Officiating. Not arguing about what was in the caddy guide or not.
9- No OB
10- On/Over Road is OB, Creek long and right of the fairway is OB. You are considered in bounds if you can take a legal stance behind the lie should your throw enter the creek and not be surrounded by water.
11- In the creek, surrounded by water is OB.
12- On/Over Road is OB
13-No OB
14-No OB
15-In the creek long of the basket and left of the fairway is OB. For shots that are questionable, send me a picture, play a provisional, and await the official ruling.
16-No OB
17-Road long of fairway is OB. Other than that, no other OBs
18-In the creek in any capacity is OB. The creek boundaries are naturally defined, and your card is to agree on whether or not the lie is "in the creek." If you cannot as a card come to a decision, send me a picture, and play a provisional. Tee shots coming to rest OB are to re-tee.

At this time(and it's likely not going to change), I have chosen that these divisions will play 2 rounds on Saturday:
MA2, MA3, MA4, all Juniors and Female divisions.

All others will play on Sunday.

Awards are on site as well, Pros will be paid via PayPal following the event.

This is frustrating to say the least. This event was supposed to take off and be a huge hit.

I had side events planned, a very strong player's pack for the AMs, and more coming. I had custom artwork done to make this an event that was amazing for the Southern IL area.

I will make adjustments tonight. After I put the baby to bed tonight, I will go live on the Facebook page and talk about the struggles of Tournament Directing, the changes I'm considering making to this event, and talking Disc Golf events with all of you.

I hope many of you tune in.

I would love to play both courses is there an option to turn it into a 3 round event 2 on one day and 1 on the other day.
