About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Thank you for joining us on Stop #2 - the Krush at Konarcik!
We are looking forward to providing everyone a great experience, and the opportunity to gain points to see us at the Finals for our tour!
This event will be 2 two rounds with tee times! Please be aware that card backups at Konarcik are inevitable, so be patient, and keep those arms warmed up!
We are in dire need of volunteers to assist us with the check-in process! Please let Mikey Beal or Justin Done know you are interested in helping via email/text/direct message/etc!
The current player's pack is as follows:
-Van Man Discs Branded Aluminum Water Bottle(26oz.)-$15
-Aitex coupon - $4 retail
-Dynamic Discs branded Sunglasses - $5
OB lines and Course Layout will be posted as soon as possible to allow plenty of information for practice purposes to be available. Tee Times/Groupings will all be built and posted the night that registration closes. No last minute entries unfortunately! This allows players to coordinate their schedules to fit a day of Tee Times. Konarcik is a tight course in a lot of places, so backups will most certainly happen.
As players, please be courteous to others in regards to the pace of your play.
Ruling 802.03 - Excessive Time
A player has taken excessive time if they are present and have not thrown within 30 seconds after:
The previous player has thrown; and,
They have had a reasonable amount of time to arrive at and determine the lie; and,
They are next in the throwing order; and,
The playing area is clear and free of distractions.
A player who takes excessive time receives a warning for the first violation. A player who takes excessive time after having been warned for it during the round receives one penalty throw. See 811.F.5 for a player who is absent when it is their turn to throw.
Please also be aware that this a PDGA B-tier event and Rules/Regulations according to the competition manual will be enforced.
Section 3.03 - Player Misconduct
All players must adhere to a professional standard of sporting ethics, courtesy, and integrity while participating in a PDGA-sanctioned event and when commenting to the media. Conduct that violates this standard is subject to courtesy violations called by players (see 812, Courtesy), penalties issued by the Tournament Director, and any further disciplinary action deemed appropriate by the PDGA.
C. The following actions also violate the above standard. Players who commit one or more of these violations will not receive a warning, and will be immediately disqualified by the Tournament Director:
1. Cheating: a willful attempt to circumvent the rules of play.
2. Physical attacks upon anyone present.
3. Public display or use of illegal or prohibited substances in violation of any applicable law (national/federal, state/provincial, local/city/county, et al) from the two-minute warning to the time the player's scorecard is submitted.
4. Public display or use of alcohol at PDGA events sanctioned at B-Tier or higher, or of marijuana at PDGA events sanctioned at any Tier level, even where otherwise lawful or permitted, from the two-minute warning to the time the player's scorecard is submitted.
