The Saskatchewan Open is the premiere disc golf event in the province, and in its sixteenth year, it's coming to the Parkland region. We're extremely excited to host Saskatchewan's best and to showcase the two beautiful courses that will be playing host to this year's event.
Once again, the event is a PDGA B-Tier event, which means that at least $500 will be added to the pro payouts. Ams will receive a players' pack that will include at the very least a t-shirt from the event. Other news about players packs TBA!
Three rounds will be played over the course of two days at Melville Regional Park and the combined course at Patrick Park and Rodney Ridge Park in Yorkton. Since Melville's course is in a Regional Park, visitors are required to have a pass in order to play the course. Passes can be purchased for the day at the park office.
Currently, Saskatchewan isn't allowing interprovincial players, but we expect that by the time the tourney happens, restrictions will have lifted to the point that out of province players can likely play. IF THIS ENDS UP NOT BEING THE CASE, we will refund any out of province players who have registered, and must therefor be removed from the players' list.
