WELCOME to the 2021 GREATER HOUSTON DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS !!!
PDGA B Tier - March 20-21
Gorilla Disc Golf would like to thank the City of Baytown for their continued support of the local disc golf community !!!!!!

Baytown Parks and Rec will have both parks in TIP TOP shape and take great measures to direct traffic away from play areas at Jenkins Park for a smooth play experience.
Evergreen and Jenkins Park DGC
2 days / 3 rounds
Sat 3/20 - 1st round tee at 9am
2nd rounds will start one hour after last card from each pool is in, posted on GORILLA FB PAGE and PDGA event page.
All players will play 1 round at EG and 1 round at Jenkins, shotgun start.
Sun 3/21 - All players at EG on tee-times.
Rec divs out 1st - MPO will be last cards out.
Spectators will be allowed provided social distancing is followed.
72 players per pool- 144 HARD CAP
A-Pool: All Pro, MA1, MA40
Course order - EG/Jenkins/EG -
PLAYS GOLD FLAGS !!!
FPO plays BLUE LAYOUT (BLUE FLAGS) short tees (except 15) at EG
ALL others play long concrete tees with temp long tee on holes 1 and 18.
(18 basket in hill position)
B-Pool: All other divs- BLUE FLAGS !!!
Course order - Jenkins/EG/EG - BLUE LAYOUT:ALL SHORTS (except 15) AT EG
(18 Basket in hill position from concrete tee)
SUNDAY LAYOUT:
All players at EG Sunday on tee-times, divs will play tees as designated above on modified Eg layout.
Flow will be 1-10, 15-18, 13,14,11,12.
Hole 12 will be a modified par 5, mando left of tree off the tee to a pin located across the pond. See link for accompanying map.

All am players will receive an event stamped players pack disc, no deduction from entry fee.
Taking into consideration the gravity of the Covid situation, we are fully prepared to implement and include the following measures to promote, adhere and exceed suggested safety and social distancing protocol.
Online players meeting and hole assignments -
Rounds 1 and 2:
All players would show up, utilize designated practice areas and then proceed directly to their starting holes. Players may use their starting holes to warm up.
NO MORE THAN 4 PLAYERS ON ANY CARD.
CHECK IN-
Check-in is not required.
AM players may pick up their players pack discs at Evergreen any time throughout the event, starting Sat morn at 8am.
HOLE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ON THE PDGA EVENT PAGE AND AT EG HQ-

Digital scorecards -
Access code - GHDGC2021
Players must agree to score and submit scorecards digitally on the PDGA webpage. This will require zero person to person contact.
6ft minimum distance rule -
We will repeatedly suggest all players adhere to this suggestion
Lunch separation -
Players will be encouraged and policed to stay distanced at lunch between rounds one and two.
Round 3 on tee-times-
Round 3's tee times will run from approx 9am to 1pm on Sunday, cards of 4 players. This will minimize the amount of players near Headquarters at any one time. Warm-up areas will be designated, well away from HQ. We will limit the number of players allowed in these areas, players with approaching tee-times will have priority.
Payouts -
Payouts for Pro divisions will be done via Paypal.
Payouts for amateur divisions will be handled as each division comes in. They will be handled 3 at a time in order from 1st to last. We will rope off an area and have players/patrons in that area distanced. Additionally, we will ask that players sanitize their hands (provided by us) before and after looking through the inventory.
Sales-
ALL onsite sales will be handled as above, 3 at a time and same distancing measures apply.
Spectators (are allowed) -
All above suggestions, especially the 6ft rule, will apply to spectators. We would love for area residents and players to come out and follow along with the areas best, provided its done in a safe manner.
ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN / PAYOUT SCHEDULE-

$3 pdga fee / $2 GHDGC fee

Gorilla Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
GDG refund policy-
GDG will refund any player in full (minus registration fees) if requested by email more than 72hrs before the start of event check-in.
GDG will refund any player in full (minus reg fees) up to 16hrs before check-in ONLY IF we can fill the spot.
ALL drops within 16 hours of the event- players will receive entry fee value in merchandise at vendors convenience.
No shows forfeit entry fees.
*exceptions can be made in certain circumstances.
ALL WAITLISTED PLAYERS THAT DO NOT GET IN WILL BE PROMPTLY REFUNDED POST EVENT
