2021 Frankfort Amateurs Championship

BIGGEST PAYOUTS EVER!
This is a 60 hole, 3 course, 3 round, 2 day, PDGA Sanctioned, B-Tier, Amateur Only, disc golf tournament hosted by Frankfort Disc Golf Association Inc., Sponsored by Sig Luscher Brewery, Awards by Bang-A-Chain and with the support of Frankfort Parks and Recreation.

Entry is $45 for all Divisions. Early registration will open on July 1st and run for 2 weeks. Early registrants must elect to sponsor a hole for $25 to secure a spot and to boost payouts. Regular registration will begin on July 14th. Registration will close on Thursday, August 26th at midnight.

There will be 3 pools with a cap of 72 players per pool. We will play 2 rounds on Saturday and a final round on Sunday. The 3 courses will be East Frankfort Park DGC, Lakeview Park DGC and Gravis McDonald DGC at Falling Springs. For this tournament, at Falling Springs, ADV will play from the long tees and all other divisions (including all age protected divisions) will play from the short tees.

This will be a shotgun start at 9:00 AM with no player’s meeting. After round one, each pool will have a lunch break that will allow for travel time between courses. Travel from Frankfort to Falling Springs is 20-25 minutes.

All AMs will receive a player’s pack with items such as a premium disc from Dynamic Discs, a custom Dri-Fit shirt and other items. Shirt sizes can be chosen during registration up until July 30th at which time they will be subject to availability.

Payout: After your round, you can follow the PDGA leaderboard for your division. Once the final player for your division has completed their scorecard we will calculate winnings for that division and post the results. AMs can redeem winnings on-site at the Bang-A-Chain booth, online at BangAChain.com or visit their retail location in Lexington, KY.

Ties: For a shotgun start, any 1st place ties will require a tie breaker. Player’s tied for 1st place must meet on Hole One after their division has finished Round 3 and play head to head on the designated holes (TBD) until one player wins. Prize amounts and trophies for 1st place will go to the winner. All other ties will have the award amounts split evenly.

NOTE: Players must be at their assigned holes and ready to tee off promptly at 9:00 AM. Players who are late will be penalized (Par plus 4) for every hole missed without exception. Pace of play will be essential. Consider parking near your starting hole. Please do not congregate in parking areas, pavilions or tents before or after your round. Spectators and caddies are prohibited without prior notification and must sign a waiver.
