The Coachman Classic is a 2 day, 3 round tournament held at N.E Coachman Disc Golf Park in Clearwater Florida. The Coachman Classic has been around since 1995 and continues to grow!

The layout will be original 18 hole layout

The format for the tournament will be a little different this year due to the necessary precautions that we must take to ensure player safety in the midst of the corona virus pandemic. The tournament will be 3 rounds, 2 rounds Saturday and 1 Sunday. Cards will be dispersed using tee times so that there are only so many people on the course at a certain time. Cards will be limited to four players a card and will be checked in in a contactless manner. Competitors will be assigned tee times electronically the week before the tournament and will be encouraged to show up not more than 30 minutes before they are expected to tee off. Cards will be sent out in intervals, allowing for enough time for additional distance between individual cards. There will be a 20-minute break between tee times every two hours. The use of PDGA live digital scoring will be required of all cards, no sharing of scorecards will be permissible.
The event will have a pre-recorded player meeting explaining all the rules of the tournament including course rules, current etiquette rules, PDGA rules, as well as rules regarding covid-19 safety and preparedness. The rules regarding covid-19 safety and preparedness will include mandatory social distancing of 6ft or more, the prohibiting of touching, and the encouragement of the use of masks (Mask and gloves will be worn by all tournament staff members), these requirements are subject to change pending any additional state and local policies introduced before the tournament. Those found in violation of social distancing rules will be disqualified from the tournament and asked to leave the park. All members before tee off will be briefed on the rules for the event regarding social distancing measures and course rules. Tournament staff members will be regularly walking the park to ensure compliance. Naturally our parks are spacious enough to comply with social distancing measures with ease. More information will be shared with players soon.
