CASHLESS PRE REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED!
For the second straight year The Vienna Open is making a return to the southeast Michigan area!
Due to covid 19 a shuffling of schedule has been done and this date has been hand picked by myself to not interfere with any other events within the proximity.
We will be playing 2 rounds of 21 holes just like last year, tee layout is as follows -
Open and Advanced(MA1) will be playing Long Tees both rounds.
Intermediate(MA2) will be playing Long Tees during round 1 and short tees during round 2.
Every other division will play shorts both rounds to ensure good pace of play.
This tournament is NEW PLAYER FRIENDLY, meaning if you’re looking to test your skills on a fun yet challenging course in a competitive environment THIS IS YOUR CHANCE.
This event is once again Non-Sanctoined meaning rounds will NOT be rated and there will be no 10$ fee from the Pdga for not being a current member.
Open to accepting donations as I have plenty of flags on stand by for CTPs and I’m looking forward to being your TD for the second straight year, last year we had 52 players let’s see if we can top that number this year!

Hole 1 - over any fence, on the baseball diamond
Hole 2, 3 and 4 - on the bank of the creek (to ensure player safety)(flagged)
Hole 4 - patch of rough right of the fairway (flagged), on or over the bank of the creek (flagged)
/ over fence long
Hole 5, over fence on the left
Hole 6 and 7 - NONE
Hole A - over (or under, yes you can go under) fence
Hole 8, 9, 10 - NONE
Hole 11 - patch of rough left of basket (flagged)
Hole 12 - NONE
Hole B - over fence on the right, in parking lot long, on or over road left, or on shed
Hole C – Is an Island Hole, If Island is missed once, please re-tee, (lying 2 throwing 3) if Island is missed a second time, proceed to marked drop zone long of the island (lying 4 throwing 5)
Hole 13 - NONE
Hole 14 - on the softball field infield (dirt/gravel)
Hole 15 - over any fence, on or over any road
Hole 16 - on or over any road / in any wildflowers & tall grass both left and long and near basket (flagged) /in bush line/dry pond area to the left (flagged)/ so anything left that’s not in short grass is OB
Hole 17 - in wildflower patch on the right & short(flagged), / over the stick pile long of the pin /
(all woods on left & right are SAFE)
Hole 18 - any wildflower/tall grass patch before the gap, over any fence long of the pin

**all out of bounds will play as normal OB rules, proceed to nearest safe lie in line with where the disc went out with a 1 stroke penalty
