About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Thanks to the generous cooperation of the fine folks at Meadow Lakes Golf Club, we will once again be offering the Fall Classic on the glorious 18 hole layout on the wonderful links at Meadow Lakes.
A few differences this year.
1. The tournament will take place over Saturday and Sunday with players playing 1 round of 18 each day. Tournament cost is 60$ (Not including acepot and fees).
2. Players meetings will all be online via video. Video will be available in the days leading up to the event. All players need to watch this video.
3. Tee Times will be assigned instead of the shotgun start used last year. This will allow us to avoid large gatherings.
4. We are not sure what the wrap-up/awards ceremony will look like at this point, rest assured there will be lots of cash and prizes up for grabs.
Everything subject to change.
5. We can use volunteers for several positions during the tournament, ideally non-participants, however with the assigned tee times you may consider helping out before or after your round.
6. Physical distancing rules will be in effect. All participants must follow these to ensure our event is a safe success.
7. Players will choose their own divisions this year. Tee Pad lists below.
Practice rounds will be available at a cost of 10$ on Thursday between 2:30-4 & Friday between 3:30-4:30 and 5:40-6:30. This is a great chance to come out and try the course, as well as support Meadow Lakes. For Friday tee times, contact Josh. For Thursday please book a tee time with the clubhouse. We will also be having an organized doubles match Friday evening. Time TBA (6ish).
Players are reminded that there is NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL allowed on the course. A beer cart with coffee and Bailey's will be provided by the golf course, please be respectful of their business. We have now established a good working relationship with the golf club, help us foster that!
Optional Monday Night Doubles
An optional Monday Night Doubles will be held will be held Monday, September 21st at Solstice DiscGolfPark. It will be doubles best disc, with the teams being decided based on score. So if you haven't had enough golf come out for this! It will be a quick layout with a potential shotgun start at 6:30, depending on the turnout.
Tee times will be between 8-4 Saturday and Sunday. We will do our best to provide a tentative schedule as soon as it is possible.
