About this tournament

The MD Senior Olympics Commission Board voted 7/7/20 to cancel all 2020 MDSO events. The Druid Hill Open will be held, as planned, but there will be no awards for Maryland Senior Olympics.

Thanks to some generous sponsors, there will be $100 ADDED CASH to the MPO and FPO payouts (apportioned by # of participants)!

COVID-19 NOTICE

Registrants must confirm, at check-in, that, to the best of their knowledge, they have no symptoms that might be indicative of a coronavirus infection and that they have had no contact with a coronavirus victim within the three weeks prior to the tournament. Registrants who are not able to provide this confirmation will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to leave the disc golf area. Full refunds will be provided.
Registrants must also agree to have their temperature tested (non-contact thermometer). Registrants with temperatures above 100F will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to leave the disc golf area. Full refunds will be provided.

Due to additional time required for safe CoVid-19 practices, the tournament start time will be one hour later than for past DHOs. Check-in time starts at 8:00 a.m., as before, and is extended to 10:00 a.m.

A Players' Meeting script (via a link to the pdf file) will be emailed to all registrants using the email addresses on dgscene.com. (Link to current draft: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-ZNFNrzdWG7fQyVz9HDz10zJZqAaVlhx/view?usp=sharing)

DHO registrants play two rounds in their respective pools: "Front 18" (Legacy front 9 holes, Forest Drive front 9 holes) and "Back 18" (Legacy back 9 holes, Forest Drive back 9 holes).

The pool divisions have been changed to accommodate the unexpectedly-large registration of MA2 and MA3 players and unexpectedly small registration of Professional and Advanced Am players. We reserve the right to make further changes. The layouts currently have everyone playing one short-to-long round and one long-to-short round, as determined by the Pool assigned.

Pool A will play the first round on the Back 18 from the orange (long) tees to the purple (short) baskets. They will play the second round on the Front 18 from the purple (short) tees to the orange (long) baskets.

Pool B: 1st Round, Front 18, orange (long) tees to the purple (short) baskets; 2nd Round, Back 18, purple tees/orange baskets.

NOTE: Lunch is NOT included. Please bring your own food AND WATER. Some food may be available for purchase. Some water may be available at Tournament Central on request.

Sponsored by Eagle Mill Disc Golf (http://eaglemilldg.com/) and Baltimore Disc Golf, Inc., and (maybe) some beer sponsors.

Refund policy
