2020 Codorus Township Park Individual Matchplay Challenge

Join us Sunday June 14th for the 2020 Codorus Township Park Individual Matchplay Challenge. Field is limited to 24 people as of now and may expand to 36.
Entry fee is $20.00
One division for top finishers to compete for merch bucks.

Group Stage Start 9:20 AM
Lunch (Not Provided) is 45 minutes after the last group finishes from the group stage.
Elimination Bracket
Prizes
The first stage is the group stage where you will go out with a group of four to play 3 rounds of nine on a custom loop (holes 10,11, 12, 13, 14, 6, 7, 8, and 9 from short tees to yellow pins).
Group Stage Example: Four Players.. Player 1 competes against player 2 and Player 3 competes against Player 4. The victor of 1-2 and 3-4 will compete during the 2nd round to determine winner of the group and securing a spot in the bracket. The losers of 1-2 and 3-4 will compete in the second round to earn a 1-1 record and compete with the other 1-1 record during round 3. Now for the 3rd round...the person with the 2-0 record has secured their spot in the elimination bracket. Two people with the 1-1 record will compete in the 3rd round to earn a secured spot in the elimination bracket. The poor soul with the 0-2 record will compete against the 2-0 competitor for the 3rd round, but may have a glimmer of hope for the elimination bracket if they got enough birdies to earn a hot seed. By the end of the group stage we should have an outright winner determined after the 2nd round and a consolation qualifier (from the 1-1 competitors) after the 3rd round. Tournament Central will need to know the outright winner, consolation winner, and how many birdies everybody had.
Elimination bracket will have the outright winners filling the top seeds in order of number of birdies. The consolation winners will fill in the next seeded places determined by number of birdies. Any remaining gaps will be filled from others based on number of birdies. Anybody that does not qualify for the elimination bracket is welcome to play the other holes random doubles to compete for prizes at no additional costs. Holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 15, 16, 17, 18 short tees to short pins.
This format will guarantee 36 holes of disc golf. Merch bucks may be claimed anytime throughout the remainder of 2020.
