This is a fundraiser tournament for Decatur High Schools Softball Program. I have 2 daughters on the team and have coach several of the players over the years. This season the team will be playing in a tournament at Disney and this is a fundraiser to help with these expenses. This is the first of 2 tournaments on the day. This is a clinic for new players with little to no experience playing disc golf. The clinic will cover basic rules, techniques, types of disc and types of throws with local pros giving a demonstration. Following the clinic there will be a 1 round singles tournament for these new players. Each group will be escorted by a experienced player to answer any questions and help with scoring. This is my attempt at growing the sport of disc golf in the Decatur area. Looking forward to seeing a lot of new faces!!
