2017 Highland Fling Disc Golf Trilogy Challenge Tournament
The player packets have arrived and we have 30 extra to sell (I got extra because we get an additional prize to give away from Dynamic Discs). Register online at www.highlandcityfling.com to reserve them, then show up at two pre-event distribution times to pick them up. You can always arrive on tournament day as well.
Packet Distribution Dates at Beacon Hill Park:
• Thursday, July 27, 6:30 pm-8:15 pm (I will host a $5 night disc golf activity starting at 8:30 pm; I provide two LED lights for your disc)
• Saturday, July 29, 11:00 am-1:00 pm
• Monday, July 31, 3:00 pm-6:00 pm
The Trilogy Challenge is your chance to prove your skill with a level playing field in regards to discs. Players are only allowed to play in the tournament with the three 2017 discs they receive in their player pack; if a disc is lost during the round, they must finish the round without it. Players get everything they need to play disc golf for only $35! If you did this just to buy the discs, it’s a great deal.
Monday, July 31st – Tournament Day
Check in/Pick up packets: Flex pick up from 3:00 - 6:00 pm (you can pick up after 6 pm, but may not be able to finish before the 8:20 pm cut off)
Time: Flex start from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, awards at 8:45 p.m. (if you tee off before 4:30 pm, and play fast, you might finish both Red & Blue courses; no extra fee)
Place: Beacon Hill Park (5959 West Beacon Hill Blvd., Highland, UT)
Registration: $35 ($20 if you already have a Trilogy set from another 2017 tournament). Registration is based on availability (there are no spaces left after these 30 packets are gone). Register online at www.highlandcityfling.com
Ring of Fire game following awards to claim left over prizes (see video)
Profit obtained from the event will go to the maintenance and upgrading of the course.
