About this tournament
1 round of play
The Trilogy Challenge is an event designed to bring both brand new and experienced players out. The player's pack is worth well more than the cost of entry and it puts brand new discs in your bag that are not yet available elsewhere. The three discs that come in the Players Pack are the only three discs allowed during the Trilogy Challenge. It's an absolute blast and is perfect for those that have been wanting to try the sport of disc golf but haven't gotten out to buy discs or for whatever reason have been intimidated by just going out to the course and throwing. I will be giving out extra prizes before and after the event so let's have some fun and grow the sport.
The Divisions can get confusing, Just know basically there are two divisions, Advanced and Rec regardless of age or gender. If you are a good and experience player sign up under Advanced. If you are new to the game, inconsisten with your scores or dont play often sign up under Rec. If you are confused just sign up under General and we'll assign you later.
I created some other divisions on here that will be treated as Rec but if there are 4 or more signed up they will get a separate prize as well as an incentive to bring out more younger players and women. Must be in Advanced Division to win the big prizes, Rec still has good prizes as well, the Trophy Disc will still go to the best score of the day. I will probably throw in some additional prizes because sometimes I end up doing Oprah impressions as a TD on the day of "You get a disc, you get a disc, everyone gets a disc (not really everyone besides players pack)" But the main point of this is not for the prizes or to win but to grow the sport and to have fun whether you are an experienced player or new to the game.
Driver- Latitude 64 Falchion – Speed: 9 Glide: 6 Turn: -1 Fade: 2
Midrange- Westside Discs Sling – Speed: 5 Glide: 5 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
Putt& Approach- Dynamic Discs Marshal – Speed: 3 Glide: 4 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
I am placing an order for Player's Packs on July 5th so register soon! I will be ordering extra players packs that day for Late Registration but I would love to have an idea of number of participants to expect so I don't run out. Had a lot of walkups last year. Thanks!
