About this tournament
3 rounds of play
We are still ironing out a lot of details, but rest assured that the event will be run on the same level as it has been in past years. The biggest change for 2013 is that we are moving the event to Blue Lake.
Blue Lake is a championship level course located in Fairview, Oregon. Next Adventure and Stumptown Disc Golf played a huge role in building the course. We will be the first tournament at the course to use the amateur layout, which will shorten some of the longest holes and allow us to get in as much golf as possible during the weekend.
The player's pack will be valued at over $120 (retail). It will include at least 2 premium discs, a high quality shirt, and much more. The silver flight will play one round on Saturday and one round on Sunday while the gold flight will play two rounds on Saturday and one round on Sunday. The festivities on Sunday include dinner, music, a raffle, the final 9 competition, ring of fire, vendor area and the awards ceremony.
Next Adventure once again will be sponsoring a gigantic Ace Pot (a $1,500 gift certificate to Next Adventure) and the final nine skins match, which is open to the four players with the best rounds during the weekend, regardless of division. Each skin will be a $100 gift certificate.
There is a $5 daily fee for parking at Blue Lake Regional Park if you don't have an annual pass. This fee is not included in your registration fee.
Next Adventure is Portland's alternative outdoor store. Whether you are a kayaker, climber, snowboarder, hiker, camper, skier, cyclist, disc golfer, or just someone who loves the outdoors, come visit us and let us help you with your next adventure
We love to play in the outdoors, and our goal is to make it easy for you to get out there and enjoy it, too! We want to get the right gear to the right person for the right price. Next Adventure has been gearing up Portland since 1997.
