About this tournament

This is also something the club is trying new this year. We are starting an annual benefit tournament for our park and rec department here in Norwalk. This is going to be an unsanctioned tournament for this year, if we get enough interest we can make it a sanctioned event next year. It is going to be a simple $20.00 entry fee for all participants and all the proceeds will be split between the Park and Rec department and the NADGA following the tournament. It is going to be a partners best shot doubles/scramble format with random draw for partners. Just like our Monday night league we will do an A group B group and a C group. Then the teams will be randomly selected with teams consisting of A group with C group and B group with B group. Please be honest when signing up. The Added money, which may increase as the tournament gets closer, will then be split and distributed to the top 3 teams after TWO rounds of 24 holes. 1st-50% 2nd-30% 3rd-20% Also there will be a lunch cooked and sold at the event, all the money made on the lunch will be donated to the park and rec department as well. The Norwalk Area Disc Golf Association will have discs for sale at the registration table. Please come out and help us support our local park and rec department. Remember, without them the Great Blue Heron Disc Golf Course would not be as amazing as it is!

The $20.00 entry fee will be broken down like this:

$15.00 from every entry will be donated to the park and rec department!

$5.00 from every entry will go into the NADGA club fund for course improvements and future tournaments.

The lunch will consist of 2 hot dogs and a bottle of water or can of pop for $2.50 of which all the money raised will also go into the donation fund for the park and rec department.
