The 1st Annual Independisc Day Blast will be a one day, two-round PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier tournament at Johnson UMC "The Lord's Landing" disc golf course in Norton, OH. Join us as we celebrate Independence Day weekend with 36-holes of disc golf!
►Registration is $50 for pros, $40 for all amateur divisions. Ace pot will be an additional $3 entry, and two cash CTPs (one per round) will be $2 additional. If no ace is hit, there will be a throw off for 50% of the pot, remainder goes to JUMC Disc Golf for course upkeep and improvements.◄
■ Register before May 1st to guarantee your shirt size, and indicate disc preference for players pack. After May 1st, we cannot guarantee specific sizes or discs. (Disc molds subject to availability). ■
Anticipated amateur Player Pack to include:
• One tournament stamped premium Trilogy disc (several molds to choose from)
• One tournament short sleeve Dri-Fit shirt
• Two Dynamic Discs "swag" items: A wristband, and can koozie.
(Player packs are subject to change based on availability. Pro players will not receive a players pack, but may purchase an event disc and/or dri-fit on the registration form.)
◌MPO, FPO, and MA1 divisions will play both rounds from LONG tees.
◌MA40, FA1, and MA2 divisions will play 1st round LONGS, 2nd round SHORTS.
◌All other divisions will play both rounds from SHORT tees.
If you would like to request a particular division be made available, please post in the comments! Any division can be made available, however there may be a minimum of 4 players for a division. In the event a division has 3 or fewer registrants, those players may be asked to choose another division for which they are eligible. (Minimums subject to TD discretion and certain divisions may be excepted.)
Pro divisions will receive cash payouts for the top 40%, and amateurs will receive plastic payouts for the top 50% of each division. We hope to have a vendor onsite for plastic payouts, but will definitely offer online plastic payouts through Skybreed Discs. If an onsite vendor is present, you will be able to choose to redeem all or part of your payout onsite and receive the rest from Skybreed via an emailed code within 2-3 days after the tournament.
ALL REQUESTS FOR CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS MUST BE MADE ON OR BEFORE JUNE 25TH. Cancellations after June 25th or registrants who fail to attend without notice will NOT be refunded - entry fees will be included in tournament payout, and player will be responsible for making arrangements to collect their player's pack following the tournament.

Refund policy
JUMC Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. All transaction fees are non-refundable. Requests for cancellations/refunds will be approved until close of online registration. Registration list becomes final at close of online registration, and any remaining waitlisted players will be refunded. Any player on the finalized registration list who does not play on the event day for any reason will receive a score of "999" and their entry fees will be used for payouts as if they played.
