19th Annual Easley Ice Bowl
About this tournament
The Upstate Disc Golf Club will host the 19th annual Easley Ice Bowl on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. All proceeds will benefit SHINE Soup Kitchen in Easley. The Easley Ice Bowl tournament has raised over $22,500 for local charities since 2003.
The tournament will be 1 day, 2 rounds at the Foothills DG Course at JB Red Owens Park on a 20 hole layout. The format will be bring your own partner Doubles (captain's choice). Mulligans will be for sale at the tournament for $1 each and can be shared with your partner.
The first 80 people (40 teams) to sign up will receive a free Ice Bowl disc as a players' pack. These discs will be available for pick-up at check-in on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trophy discs will be given to the top teams in each division as well as best team name and most money donated.
There will be a Chili Cookoff at lunch with a $100 cash prize for the winning chili. Lunch will be available for all competitors given enough people bring a pot of chili. There will be electrical outlets available to plug in your crock pot.
We will also have a raffle after the second round for new and collectable discs and other gear/memorabilia. We welcome any donations. Raffle tickets will be for sale at the tournament for $2 each or 3 for $5.
The course is located at 111 Walkers Way Easley, SC 29642. Tournament Headquarters will be in the picnic pavilion by hole 1's tee.
