The 15th Annual Discers-4-Whiskers® presented by Full Moon Oyster Bar & Seafood Kitchen!

We want to THANK everyone for supporting our pet food fundraising efforts last year as we raised 3,175 pounds of pet food and $6,479 cash that we have used to purchase and donate pet food across the Piedmont Triad area. We have some exciting NEWS:

This year lunch is being provided for all players by Knucklehead BBQ (a Southern Harvest Hospitality Group company) - and It's Stupid Good!! Our entree will include the following Knucklehead specialties: Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Vinegar- Based & BBQ Sauces, Baked Beans, Red Potato Salad, Hand cut Cole Slaw, Corn Muffins, Buns, sweet tea and lemonade. For dessert we have David's Chocolate Chunk Brownies - an American favorite made with pure chocolate and sweet chocolate chunks!!

Once again, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Lasso Gaucho in Winston Salem the team that brings the most pet food will win a unique “Rodizio” style dining experience for four valued at over $220!!

We will also be holding two raffles again this year!! NEW this year is the "Full Moon Feast for 6" raffle, donated by the Full Moon Oyster Bar & Seafood Kitchen, and is a fantastic dinner for 6 people valued at $600+!! Tickets are only $10 each and gratuity is the only thing not included! The Full Moon Oyster Bar is a popular watering hole and seafood restaurant located in Clemmons NC, Southern Pines NC, Morrisville NC, Jamestown NC, Concord NC, Atlantic Beach, NC, and now in Asheboro, NC. The "Big Whisker" raffle is filled with tons of gift cards and items from generous local businesses including entertainment, services & disc golf related items. Big Whisker tickets raffle tickets are one for $5, 3 for $10, seven for $20, 20 tickets for $50 and the "Big Whisker" being 50 raffle tickets for $100!! We will post raffle items in the pictures category!!

We are playing one round on an 18 hole Rootdown layout. The entry fee donation is only $30 plus a 15#+ bag of pet food per player - the bigger the bag the better! This is an unsanctioned pet food fundraiser and well behaved pets are most welcome! We will update the "Players Packs" as we add items!! Players packs currently include the following:

Both of the raffles will be held onsite at the Rootdown DGC after the disc golf round. You do not have to be present to win so buy your tickets before the event!!
