About this tournament

We are pleased to announce that the Ice Bowl will be returning to the Great Blue Heron again this year. This will be the 12th Ice Bowl for the club and 13th I have ran. Luckily the Ice Bowl name has been continued on by Rick Rothstein and has partnered up with many different distributors of disc golf apparel and discs. Details are as followed:
Format: Random Draw Doubles
Registration: 10 am to 10:45 am at the back shelter
3 rounds. Layout will be the same as Glo Dubs. 2 back to back rounds of 13 holes. Then a break. Then one final round of 13 holes. Very short course with some old school shots and will make rate of play cruise and some hot scores in the cold weather.
Entry: $25 per person plus 10 non-perishable items.
Mulligans: 2 mulligans are available at a cost of 10 non perishable items each. I.E: $25 and 30 items get you in with 2 mulligans!
1st 25 checked in and paid registrants recieve a mini marker
Free Chili Lunch for all!
Payouts will be in the form of merchandise so we can give all we can to the Norwalk Area Food Bank.
Our goal is set to $200 and 400 items, what we hit normally for Ice Bowl, but I would love to do so much better and give to those in our community and surrounding areas. So please make some time to come and play a fun winter round of disc golf. Even if you don't want to play and would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated!
