12th Annual Denver Classic UPDATE 08-13-15
I sincerely apologize for not getting the maps done yet. It's not as easy as one would think. Plus I've been dealing with last minute registrations, temp fees not paid, refunds, tons of phone calls and looking for more shelter or alternate locations for our awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon, since it looks like it will rain. So maps will be completed and posted online later tonight. The course is indeed setup for the first two rounds and has been all week.
Bring extra cash for special Champion Glow Classic Roc Fundraiser discs, extra men's polos or ladies cut shirts, Putting Contest entries and Ace Pool if you forgot to pay during registration.
FRIDAY DOUBLES: Random Draw doubles will tee off at 5pm and will cost $5.00. Please plan on meeting at the pavilion by tee 1 on the classic course. Players will decide which course to play and Doubles will be run by Robert Nichols, who also designed the 27 hole course for Sunday.
CTP Holes, Divisions Playing from Pro Tees and Sunday Round specifics are being decided tonight with Sunday's maps. I will post info about those tomorrow, Friday.

12th Denver Classic UPDATE 08-10-15
All baskets are in position for first two rounds. Hole Lengths were measured this past weekend and the tournament course maps will be posted by Wednesday at the latest.

At this point I can’t offer any more refunds if you have registered but can’t play.

Directions to Badlands classic course "North Parking lots": Just east of Federal Blvd off of W. 90th Ave. We can use both the small lot by course and larger lots by fire station.
Directions to new course "South Parking lots": W. 84th Avenue to Zuni St., North on Zuni until it ends at "H Sports Complex” sign. Turn right off Zuni by skate park, then turn left just before batting cages. Tee 1 is painted and flagged in the grass at end of parking lot, shooting over west edge of pond.

Doubles Friday Evening can be either course, but ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING BY NEW COURSE/BALLFIELDS "SOUTH PARKING LOTS” FRIDAY EVENING!!! There is a baseball event happening and even though we have paid for a permit for the courses, I agreed with the parks dept. that no disc golfers will park down there. I figured the group that shows up to play doubles can figure out which course they want to play. Meet at 4:30pm at the Pavilion by tee 1 on the Badlands Classic course and north parking lots. FYI I paid $60 for a permit for the courses Friday evening so please feel free to come play and practice.

The Players Meeting will be Saturday Morning at 9:30am, not Friday evening. The reason for my original Friday Evening meeting was the logistics of potentially 180 players checking in, picking up players packages and gathering everyone in one place with sound reinforcement.

I will have special fundraiser Champion Glow Classic Rocs for sale and will probably have players pack discs and polo shirts or ladies cut shirts for sale while supplies last. So bring extra cash for those and your additional Putting Contest entries or Ace Pool, if you forgot to do it during registration.

There are still 36 spots available for the 12th Annual Denver Classic, PDGA B-Tier happening this weekend at both Badlands courses. Polo dry-fit shirts for men and ladies cut dry-fit shirts for women are just part of players package for ams, Lunch is provided for everyone Saturday between first two rounds, Putting Contest happening all weekend, Ace Pool, CTP Awards and more fun and camaraderie than you can handle. Novice and Junior friendly tournament with rules explained, all questions answered and we’ll have separate am and junior tee’s on some of the holes.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
Thanks,
Matt James

We will still have the Putting Content, CTP awards, Ace Pool and lunch will be served for everyone at the Pavilion on Saturday afternoon between the first two rounds. There will be a putting contest happening throughout the weekend at the practice baskets by the pavilion on Badlands normal course.
