About this tournament

Join us for this season’s third event at 1,000 Acres Ranch DGC. Situated on a former ball golf course along the banks of the Hudson River, the scenery at the course is unparalleled. The Ranch and the course are located just one hour north of Albany in the southern Adirondacks. The ranch features a number of activities & amenities including: horseback riding, kayaking, Revolution Railcar rides, pools, outdoor games, cabins, buffet-style all-you-can eat meals, a beach on the Hudson and an amazing bar area & game room.
It is an ideal disc golf destination and perfect for non-playing friends and family, as well.

The format for this event will be:
1-day / 2 rounds with a Shotgun Start.

Check-in: 8:30 to 9:00
Round 1 will start at 9:30
Round 2 will start approx 1 hr after end of Rd 1 (approx 1:30-2:00)

There will be $1,000 added cash spread proportionately amongst the Pro divisions.

-Additionally, there will be a 9-hole event using a "pop-up course" on the grounds of the Ranch itself (NOT at the normal 18-hole course) with $500 of added cash on
Friday, August 26th 4-7PM. FLEX START
This event is being run by Mark Dami and Greg Hill.

AND, check THIS out: There will also be a Sunday morning 9-hole round with $500 added called "HUDSON RIVER WATER GOLF"...This 9-hole round in the middle of the Hudson River will utilize sand bars and peninsulas and islands. (Caveat - dependent upon water levels that weekend.) Current water levels are no higher than shin-deep on the areas of the river where we will play and the water is clear and warm. Kayak out to Hole 1 and finish on a sand bar just off the beach of the resort. oh....and one interesting wrinkle....the river is not OB. The water is part of the fairways. We hope to video and drone this round as it might be the most crazy round of disc golf you've ever played!!

Registration for both of these rounds will be separate from the Saturday PDGA event and will be handled on-site that weekend.

The Gold layout will NOT be used for this event
