Hi Waxhaw Ace Racers,
I hope you are ready for the 3rd Annual Waxhaw Ace Race this Saturday! Each year this event gets bigger and better and this year is no exception. I am going to give you some quick info about Lunch, Mulligans, Pro Pull demo and the Biltong Field Events.
Field Events: The Field Event will be after lunch and it will be $2 to participate in all three events which are Longest Drive, Ring-Of-Fire and CTP. The winners of each will receive a Biltong cooler and T-shirt and a Pro Pull. The trick is you can only use the Ace Race disc for these events.
Mulligans: We will be selling Mulligans again this year. They will be $3 for 1 or $5 for 2. You can buy as many as you want but can only use 1 per hole. I will also be selling two packages: $10 will get you 4 mulligans and the field events or $20 will get you 9 mulligans and the field events.
Lunch: The Waxhaw PTO will have hotdog lunches for sale. Dog, chips and a drink for $5.
Pro Pull Demo: After lunch and before the Field Events, Mr. Pro Pull himself will be here to demo the pro pull and answer any questions you might have about this cool disc golf tool.
Rough Schedule:
9-10 am Check in and get players packs
10 am Players Meeting
10:20 am 1st Round Tee off
11:15 Lunch
11:45 Pro Pull Demo
12- Field Events
12:45- 2nd Round Tee off
1:30-2pm- Awards
All money will go towards the Waxhaw Disc Golf course. This year I am looking to purchase a backpack sprayer to help lessen the amount of mowing I have to do. Also, we’d like to buy lumber for benches and a possible bridge to open up another wooded section for some more wooded holes.
