Good morning. I hope everyone is having a good week!
Crossover is proud to present: "Spring Cedar Grove Classic". This event will be held at Cedar Grove in Sunman, Indiana, which is home to Crossover Disc Golf. The event is on Saturday, May 21st.
As of now, the weather forecast this weekend is a chance of rain. If that impacts your intent to play, please withdraw by Friday at 8p for a full refund. But looking at multiple weather apps, the best chance of rain is in the afternoon, and chance are we will be done by then anyway
The event is at Cedar Grove (21208 Meadow Lane, 47041) in Sunman, Indiana. OUR HOUSE IS THE FIRST ON THE RIGHT ON MEADOW LANE. There's a planter with flowers that looks like a disc golf basket that has our name and address on it. Our driveway is right after it on the right. Please don't go past to our neighbors.
This tournament will be a 2 round event. We will begin the first round at 930a. Player check in is between 830-915a in the garage. The door is located between the house and the garage. We will do our player meeting outside the garage by the back porch. When you check in, you will receive your event t-shirt.
I will be outside to help get your parked. Please note, when you show up you will see a big wide open grassy area out front. You might be tempted to go out there and throw some to warm up. Please don't. That actually is not our property, and to keep a good relationship with our neighbors, it's important we stay off their property. They have made it clear to us, the don't want people on their property. So thank you in advance for respecting this request.
Here's a breakdown of the day:
Rounds 1 - Purple Layout
Lunch - PROVIDED
Round 2 - Green Layout
Awards and Payout after
This will be the official opening for the Green layout. It is @3200 feet of fun.
In regards to lunch break, we will be providing lunch meat sandwiches, chips, a dessert, and drinks.
There is an ACE fund. If there is no ACE, we will do a throw off.
In the event of a tie for first in any division, the playoff will start on hole 1 and will go on until there is a winner. The purple layout will be played.
There will be payouts. All Open player will receive their money PayPal, and all AM players who cash will receive Crossover Cash.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. If you decide to withdraw for any reason, please withdraw by 8p on Friday for a full refund. We will have hole assignments up by Friday evening as well.
