Hello, this is Tom Marcus with Everyday Disc Golf. I am honored to be helping out with some of the technical and logistical aspects of the Twin Cities Women's Global Event. I am also providing the merchandise payouts for the amateur competitors of the event.
The hole assignments and projected payouts for the Women's Global Event (WGE) - Twin Cities (Saturday 5/18/24) have been published at the PDGA event page:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/78062
Starting at 7:30am, Sarah Cahill will lead some Yoga for 30 minutes!
All players can check in between 8 and 8:30am.
There will be a player meeting before round one at approximately 8:35am to go over the details and to answer any questions. Round one will start at 9:00am sharp. Give yourself enough time to get to your assigned hole at least a few minutes early. We will blow an air horn twice for the two minute warning and one long blast to start each round.
Please bring a charged phone and be ready to do digital scoring. All players are responsible for keeping score. The web address for digital scoring is:
http://www.pdga.com/score
Or you can use the PDGA Live App
The event password is:
wgetc
MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT & FINALIZE THE SCORES FOR EACH SCORER AFTER EACH ROUND! THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP! Paper scorecards will be available for those with technical issues.
We are playing a 20 hole layout by adding two holes: 5a & 11a. There are maps in the "Pictures" section of the different layouts with more detailed information. All OB rules are printed on the maps.
Juniors 12 and under will play only one round starting in the morning. All junior competitors under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. All other divisions will play a 2nd round after the lunch break.
Please be advised that hole 6's baskets are in opposite pin positions from the rest of the holes. The silver Mach 3 basket is in the long pin position and the red/blue Veteran basket is in the short pin position on hole 6 only. Please play the correct basket.
The FA60, FA65, FA70, FA75, FA3, FA4, FJ18, FJ15, FJ12, and FJ06 divisions will play the Modified Purple Layout.

Modified Purple Layout: This 20 hole layout follows the Purple Layout at North Valley, playing from the short tees to the silver Mach 3 baskets. After hole 5 we are adding a temporary hole 5a from a drop zone tee pad on hole 5 to the red/blue basket of hole 5. After hole 11, we are adding a temporary hole 11a playing from the drop zone tee pad of hole 14 to the red/blue basket of hole 11.
The FP65, FA40, FA50, FA55, and FA2 divisions will play the Modified Red Layout.

Modified Red Layout: This 20 hole layout follows the Red Layout at North Valley, playing from the short tees to the red/blue Veteran baskets. There will be two holes with exceptions in this Modified Red Layout as we are adding two holes. Starting on hole 5, all layouts will play to the shorter silver Mach 3 basket. The Red pool will shoot from the short tee. After hole 5 we are adding a temporary hole 5a from a drop zone tee pad on hole 5 to the red/blue basket of hole 5. The second exception is on hole 11 where all layouts will play from the short tee pad to the shorter silver Mach 3 basket. After hole 11, we are adding a temporary hole 11a playing from the drop zone tee pad of hole 14 to the red/blue basket of hole 11.
The FPO, FP40, and FA1 divisions will play the Modified Blue Layout.

Modified Blue Layout: This 20 hole layout follows the Blue Layout at North Valley, playing from the long tees to the red/blue Veteran baskets. There will be three holes with exceptions in this Modified Blue Layout as we are adding two holes. Starting on hole 5, all layouts will play to the shorter silver Mach 3 basket. The Blue pool will shoot from the long tee. The third exception for this layout will be hole 14 where the Blue Pool will tee from the short tee pad.
We will have side games of a CTP contest on holes 5a and 8 each round. The flags will be left by the tee pad for the first group that plays that hole to set out each round.
There will NOT be a player meeting before round 2. I will send out another group email with the round 2 start time and hole assignments after the completion of round 1.
We highly encourage everyone to stick around for lunch provided by Dain & Brittany Johnson! In addition to lunch, we will have a drawing to give away prizes and an award ceremony for the juniors 12 and under.
All cash payouts will be allocated via PayPal. Make sure that I have your correct PayPal email. Let me know if you have any questions.
