This email will serve as the player’s meeting for the Terror. Please ask any questions you may have at check-in!
First and foremost, thank you for registering for the Terror. It is one of my favorite events of the year and I’m excited to kick-off the fundraising season for the 2024 Three Rivers Open. As always, $5 from all players entry fee will go directly towards TRO 2024.
We are going to have a packed course - so have patience all day. Though I recommend playing quick because it is going to be a chilly one!
Below is information for the Terror:
Schedule
· Player Check-In: 7:45 AM – 8:25 AM
o All teams must check-in at the pavilion by Hole 1!
o BE CHECKED IN BY 8:25 AM - So you can get to your hole on time!!
· Round 1 Tee-Off: 8:45 AM (Best-Shot Doubles)
· 1-Hour Lunch Immediately Following Round 1
·
Round 2 Tee-Off: 1:00 PM (APPROXIMATE) (Alternate Shot Doubles)
· Awards Immediately Following Round 2

Tournament Format
· Round 1 is traditional Best Shot Doubles. Pool assignments and tees are attached – they are also provided within the PDGA digital scorecard.
· Round 2 will be Alternate Shot Doubles. All divisions will be playing the white tees (except Holes 2 and 12)
Alternate Shot Doubles
Alternate shot doubles are a little unique - so here is how it works:
· Let’s say Bob and Tom are on a team.
· Bob and Tom start on Hole 1. Bob tees first.
· Tom then throws the approach shot.
· Bob then attempts and makes the putt. Bob and Tom score a 3 on Hole 1.
· Since Bob threw the putt - it is now Tom’s turn to throw on Hole 2.
· Repeat until all holes are complete.
At no point in the round can you reset - so strategize correctly!
Scoring
· Hole assignments are posted on the PDGA site:

· PDGA digital scorecards will be in use for the Terror.

· Hole Assignments are up – Please review in the AM to ensure nothing changed.
· At least one (1) person from two (2) teams must submit their score.
· Please finalize your scores immediately after Round 1.
Misc. Information
· The OB lists are attached. They are also listed within the PDGA digital scorecard.
· The top 40% of the professional division will receive cash prizes.
· The top 45% of the amateur divisions will receive “funny money” a.k.a. merch prizes.
· Ace Pool is at $280 and 50/50 is at $85. Attached is a list of folks who have paid into the ace pool and 50/50. If you want to buy in tomorrow, please bring EXACT cash.
· If the Ace Pool is not hit, we will have a throw off on Hole 1 from the white tee. If someone throws in, they get the money! If no one throws in, the two (2) closest people will split the ace pot money.
· Payout tables are attached.
· Payouts for Pros, Ace Pool, and 50/50 will be distributed via Paypal via the Ford Disc Golf Club
