With the snow level on the course winter rules will be in effect. Ribbon and chalk play will be allowed. Please take turns spotting and remember EVERYONE on the card must look for discs for 3 full minutes before a lost disc can be declared.
Scoring is going to be done using PDGA.Com/Score or the PDGA App (the app also has easy access to the PDGA Rules), the code to get in is . Two (2) people from each card are required to keep score; one via the PDGA official score method and the second via PDGA (ideally), paper, or Udisc is acceptable as well. The group can decide who keeps the PDGA and who keeps the other method. The PDGA Digital Scorecard is the OFFICIAL score card of the event. After you complete scoring make sure everyone’s score is confirmed and accurate prior to anyone leaving for the day. PLEASE NOTE: Being unprepared to keep score or unwilling to keep score with other methods provided is not an acceptable excuse.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO STICK AROUND UNTIL YOUR SCORE IS SUBMITTED, If you decide to leave your group before your card is submitted and things are wrong, you can and will be assessed the proper penalties per PDGA Rules.
Below you will find the course notes and HERE you will find a course map.
With all of the snow we will play golf green, tarps and sand traps as IN BOUNDS! Please be careful as the tarps may be slick. As we continue to grow the disc golf presence in our local communities we encourage you to be kind to one another and please leave the course better than you found it.
Course Notes:
Beyond all fences is OB, all streets are OB. Golf cart paths are IN bounds. The ponds will most likely be frozen over and/or snow covered, but will still be OB. There is a significant drop off to the pond's edge that should be recognizable on holes 1, 5, 9 and 10. If you are on the edge you are probably safe, if you are well past the edge (drop off) you are OB. Your card should use their best judgment to decide if your disc is past the edge and would be considered OB. Take relief from the edge (drop off) with a penalty stroke. If there is any question please play a provisional and check with the TD after the round.
Holes 1-9 & 18 tees are artificial turf except hole 2 is dirt tee.
Holes 10-17 tees are marked by orange flags, except 15 (road) & 16 (dirt)
Snow has been cleared off all tee pads.
