Hi everyone! 

We're so looking forward to the first Thought Space Athletics Challenge at Ferguson Forest this coming Saturday, June 25. We've put together a player's meeting video for you, which should cover everything you need to know.

Please note that the first 10-11 minutes of the video are tournament details. The remainder of the video is a quick rules refresher for those newer players, so if you know the rules of disc golf, you don't have to watch that part (unless you enjoy looking at Drake's majestically flowing locks of hair).

Also we apologize for the wind noises in the video! Good ol' nature, eh? 

A couple things especially to note: 

- Four minute search rule for lost discs. No replacements, so you'll continue play with 2 if one goes AWOL, but we'll come search for you as you move on

- On the roads or over are out of bounds

- Two on-site vendors, so consider bringing some $ to purchase snacks from Five Arches Adventure Fuel or from Martin's Munchies hot dog cart

- Water REFILL stations on site, but no bottled water — please bring a fillable bottle!  

If there are any questions we didn't answer in the video, please reach out and we'll get you an answer! We'll ask that you arrive about 10 minutes before your tee time to pick up your discs and check in for any last-minute additions to the rules. With 12 minute tee times, it will be important to start promptly on time.

Our third disc is still TBA, based on what comes through on time from TSA.

Hi everyone!

We know there’s another tournament the same day in Ottawa that we unfortunately didn’t know about. Also unfortunately, we ordered our discs on Tuesday evening after 60 people had already registered.

Withdrawals and refund requests will be dealt with on a case by case basis, but primarily (as stated on our event page), you will not receive a refund but you will receive your discs.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you understand that as a not for-profit event simply hoping to operate in the black, we can’t just issue refunds when discs and amenities have already been paid and provided for.

We hope folks are able to recognize the nature of what we’re aiming to do here — which is provide a great opportunity to play some fun disc golf AND support the Ferguson Forest Disc Golf Centre as they’ve just expanded to 18 holes out of their own pockets.
