PLAYERS GUIDE HAS BEEN EMAILED TO ALL -
OneStar Disc Golf & Lucky Ace are excited to bring you the
Riverside Rumble 2023, a PDGA B-TIER
This event will be played on beautiful Riverside Park Disc Golf Course in Victoria, TX! Home of the Victoria Open Since 1983
- The first Mach baskets were installed in 1984. In the mid-80s, John Houck redesigned the course and painted 15-16 trees and the accompanying few baskets and used footstones for tees. Baskets were slowly added over time by the local club and the Parks Department. In 1988, The Riverside Disc Golf Course was created by Houck. It is the 3rd course of his design, and it is Houck’s vision and foresight of creating winding fairways underneath massive trees that inspired the development of other disc golf courses in Victoria.
Over time, the original Houck Design has evolved with the addition of several alternate pins. All original Tee Boxes remain in the same location, except for #16 which was moved back approximately twenty feet, to higher ground, due to river risings dropping silt on the box.

WHILE THIS IS LONG, IT WILL SERVE AS OFFICIAL PLAYER MEETING! IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A PLAYER TO REVIEW ALL THE PROVIDED INFORMATION PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS EVENT!
This event will benefit the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent
https://www.tfbgc.org/ so please bring some canned goods or any food that is “shelf-stable” or nonperishable. We will have a barrel located at HQ so please drop your donations, take a picture, and tag Golden Crescent food bank!
WHAT TO DONATE TO FOOD BANK??????
This part is easy. Food banks accept dry and canned food donations. What does that mean? Basically, any food that is “shelf-stable” or nonperishable – you can keep it in your pantry, and it won’t go bad. And remember, only donate food that hasn’t reached its “sell-by” date yet. Specifically, food banks often need items like: Peanut butter, Canned soup, Canned fruit, Canned vegetables, Canned stew, Canned fish, Canned beans, Pasta, Rice.
This event could not have been possible without all of our wonderful sponsors!
