Hello players,
There will be no in person players meeting Saturday morning. This is your players meeting.
Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required when you sign in or any other time you are near the store, tournament central, and in your groups if you can’t socially distance. Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.
Check in 30 minutes before your tee time at the pavilion. You must let us know you are on site. Be at your starting hole more than 2 minutes before you throw.
When you check in, we will be giving you your players pack sweatshirt you selected. Some players may want a different size than they selected, and these players will be given a choice of a different item or to wait till after their round to perhaps get the size they truly want.
Each card must have two people keep score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA app and another person any other way you want. I have set up layout ON PDGA site. PDGA.comscores code Monster
The course is NOT closed to the public while the tournament is going on. We still must respect all other park goers. Be polite and inform them that a disc golf tournament is going on and the disc golf course is very busy today.
For amateur payouts, I will be paying out top 40%. Once all players are finished in a division, I will award those prizes so you should stay around after you finish.
For professional payouts, we will be paying out the prize money via Paypal on Sunday. We will be announcing the winners at the event so they can be publicly recognized and give a few words.
All amateur divisions are playing the short tees and all professional divisions are playing the long tees.
For any tie breaker playoffs, they will start on Hole 1 playing all the tees they did not originally play. For the earlier amateur divisions this will happen before all professionals have teed off and, in that case, playoff has priority over tee times.
Water on holes 1 and 2, tennis court, parking lot and all paved roads are out of bounds.
We have a mando left on hole 4 and a mando right on hole 17. Both have a drop zone.
For holes 3 & 18 all grass outside rock walls is a hazard area. If you aren't inside of the rock wall you take a penalty stroke and play your disc where it lies.
It is predicted to be 70 degrees, sunny, and a very long round. Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.
For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before your round. We will value them as you play, and you can spend that value after you finish your round.
For any questions you can reach out to Brian Bochantin 267-756-3839 (text me) or facebook messenger.
