Here we go! It's finally tournament weekend and we are excited you are with us.

Please take some time to flip through and take in all this info. We work very hard on this every year for you and we hope you enjoy it. 

Scoring will be done by the PDGA scoring. You can access that at pdga.com/score and use code sbo2023 for access. 

Tee times are posted but are subject to change so please check back often to make sure. It is your responsibility to be on time for your tee time. 

Players Pack pick up starts at 10 and goes all weekend during store hours. This will be at Hazy Shade

Friday Flex at Belmont starts at 9. Sign up for available spots on DGS. Use code sboflex for pdga scoring.

Friday night Putting game and disc swap in the lot at Hazy Shade from 6-9

Saturday Random Draw Doubles at Belmont. Sign Ups start at 5 tee off at 6. Cash on site for this one. $10.

Raffle We have a nice raffle going to raise money for Scott's family with all kinds of great things including a basket and a Zuca Cart. 100% of the money will go to Scott's family. Spots are available in store and online all weekend.

Ace Fund closed Friday night at 9. Anyone not in by then will not be in.

Water.
We will not have plastic water bottles at this event. We will have cold water for your bottles on site. You are for NO REASON to open these jugs. If you see an empty water jug, please fill out this quick google link to let us know.

Okay almost there. Few things. Look for emails tonight late. If all goes well maybe the tee times as well. Most courses should be painted and ready I'll confirm this today. Few small changes have been made so please review all course info. One mistake I made is for Echo Valley the FA1, Fa40, and MA40 will play Blues at echo. With a full field we will push Daylight maybe on Sunday. Also for AO Fisher the ladies will play 3 shortened holes as well. Any questions please let me know

I just played the AO Fisher tournament layout. I think the Pros will enjoy this layout. However, as an over 60 player with 2 years' experience, I think this is an extremely long and difficult layout for us older folks. Hopefully, you will consider adding some shorter tee locations other than just 8, 13, & 15.

On this sheet you should see:

A check in page with your name, division, and if you are in the ace fund. If you want in the ace fund please update your DGS info for this or you can pay at check-in but you must be paid by close of business Friday or you are not in.

A Pool Sheet with all the listed Pools and divisions, the courses you play, and what day you play each course.

A Particulars Sheet with each course's info. Remember we will be using PDGA scoring for this event and the PDGA card will have the overriding info if there was a discrepancy in info for any reason.

Friday Night Putting games and Food. 6-9 At the same time as the swap we will have some old school hazy fun. We will have the lot closed and hold some putting games. All SBO players are entering in this for free!

Friday starting at 10am players packs will be available for pick up at Hazy Shade. You can pick up your pack at any time over the weekend.

These times will go up I hope by Thursday night but no later than Friday afternoon. We will post as early as I can but remember the earlier times go up the more likely someone drops and times could be affected. It is your responsibility to be on time.

Players Book link will go out Friday Morning. Look for a link and an email. This will have all the info you need for the weekend. Please save the link and review the book. we spend a lot of energy on it and are always really proud of the results.

I'm sure I forgot something so feel free to ask any questions you may have.

We can't believe it, but the SBO is just around the corner! This year, we're excited to announce a few new events and activities happening on Friday, May 19th.

C Tier Flex at Belmont

Starting at 9am, we'll be hosting a C Tier Flex at Belmont. This is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to get out and play some disc golf. The cost is $20 per player, and all proceeds will go to Scott's family.

Putting Contest and Food Trucks

We'll also be having a putting contest and food trucks in the parking lot from 6-9pm. The putting contest is free to enter, and there will be prizes for the top finishers. The food trucks will be selling a variety of food and drinks, so you can grab a bite to eat and quench your thirst.
