Friday 8pm Update: Eagle Eye Open 2025 Schedule Modification: SHOTGUN START
It is never an easy decision to alter event plans but I feel it is the right thing to do. Please know that everything is being done to ensure the safest weekend possible for each of you, considering the extreme weather predictions.
Saturday: Due to the weather variables, we will be doing a shotgun start for round 1 to get everyone off the property as early as possible. My goal is to get everyone on and off the course during the best weather window we can find. With a shotgun start we should be able to have everyone done in 5 hours or less. The plan for now is to hold check-in from 7:30am-9:00am with a 9:30 players meeting and a 10:30am start time. I will keep everyone updated via email, so check back as conditions are subject to change.
Sunday:
Depending on the severity of the Saturday night storms, I will need to survey the course Sunday morning to ensure everything is playable. Course damage could affect the plan for Sunday if any clean up is necessary. Due to these potential concerns, I am switching Sunday to SHOTGUN start as well. Expect a mid-morning start time. I will announce the exact time tomorrow evening.
Tee Pad Announcement: If conditions are wet, slippery, or muddy and the player does not feel the footing is safe, relief is given to the immediate area on either side of the pad or behind it.
Live Scoring update: Matt Versola has been gracious enough to open a WI-FI Starlink hotspot in the parking area, password 12345678, to start and complete your rounds in the PDGA App, but please still log in as soon as you are able. Hole assignments will be posted in the morning at check-in. THANK YOU MTV!!!!
See you in the morning!
Safety is the top concern!
