Thanks to everyone who came out and made SpAce Race Round #1 a fun tournament for all! I know there were at least 2 or 3 players who made their first aces ever, which is great.

Over all winner was Mateo Hylton with one ace and 19 points total. He works with metal, in more ways than one!

The rest of the leader board is as follows:

15 points -- Mat Owens (one ace)
13 points -- Christ Cordova (one ace)
13 points -- Zane Wilson (one ace)
12 points -- Vince Epker
11 points -- Andrew Evey (one ace)
11 points -- Sean Chapman (one ace)
8 points -- Steven Fodor
8 points -- Tyler Olsen

Constellation Prize 1st place -- Doug Treish 6 points (after making a full constellation on hole #12, good for 5 points, the only one of the day). 2nd place -- Zane Wilson 2 points

Space Invaders 1st place -- Erik Hayworth 4 points. 2nd place Geoffrey Zeller 2 points

The average score for all participants was 4.8.

The double ace pot came close to a few times, including two chain outs that would've won it! The pot should be 100+ for next round.

The next round is tentatively scheduled for May 11th -- there will be a firm date set before next weekend.

I updated the prize info with the following paragraph:

Prizes will be given to the highest individual scores in each series round. We'll be aiming to give out prizes to around the top 20% each event, spreading it out some instead of a very top heavy 1st place prize. There will also be an overall series winner for the individual with the highest point total counting their 7 best rounds (allowing for one missed event or throw out your worst score if you've attended all 8 rounds), as well as 2nd and 3rd place series runner-ups. A small portion of each round's prize pool will be saved for the series' winners.
