Good evening, I am just emailing to inform everyone the final tee times have been posted. There were a few small changes due to some people needing to withdraw, so double check the PDGA event page for your tee times. Here is the link to the page
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/58233 Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your tee time so we can get you and your group paired up with your carts.
I took the time to ride through the course this evening and found that due to the rain some of the teeing areas were muddy. Particularly on hole 6 and hole 16, I am going to move both of those tee pads slightly in the morning in order to make sure there is a nice safe teeing area. This will not change any of the ruling on the holes other than where you will tee and it will be clearly marked with paint and flags.
A large number of you have had questions about the weather, and sadly this is one thing that is out of my control. We will carry on with the event as planned regardless of the rain, if there is lightning over the field then we will be forced to call everyone in until it has moved a safe distance away. If you are out playing and hear three long blasts of a horn then please mark your lie and come to tournament central or seek immediate shelter if needed. We will then delay the round and make a judgement call as to when it is safe to continue. If we are unable to continue we will carry on Sunday and finish out the tournament as a 1 round event. Unfortunately this is the circumstances we are in and I very much hope it does not come to this, but the most important thing is that everyone is safe. If your entire division is able to finish out the round or at least get through 13 holes then the first round will still count towards your score and the tournament.
Attached one last time is the caddy book and course rules here for everyone.
