ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING BUY IN MONEY:
I may have dropped the ball with Parma town park scheduling, but I have corrected the issue and I will be good to go for tournaments I will be running at Parma in future. That being said, there is $500 fee for a park permit with the town of parma that I did not know was going to be an expense until yesterday. SO, instead of taking $5 from each buy-in to go to DROCK4 over the summer, that money will now go to Parma town park instead. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT PAYOUTS, but I want to be as transparent as possible with the tournament funds.

The week of the tournament has arrived! We went through Parma yesterday and it is in pretty good shape, but expect wetness in some of the grass areas and some of the muddier greens. We will be using uDisc for scoring for this event. There will be 5 temporary holes that have all been mapped on the uDisc layouts. I will be sending out a "caddy book" toward the end of the week with the OB list (via email). The OBs are also listed on the hole notes of every hole on uDisc. As a reminder: everyone will be playing the same layout round 1, short pad to long basket. PRO/DA1 will play long to short round 2 and DA2 will play short to short.

I wanted to share the CTP holes for AM2. They will be hole 3 red, hole 7 red, and hole 10 white. I am deferring to the TDs to pick the CTPs for Pro/AM1 as I am less familiar with those layouts. I have decided to put AM1 and Pro together as this gives us an even 42 players for each set of certificates and allows us to sponsor 3 holes for each rather than 2. Each player can only win once. In the event a player wins more than one, the first hole (starting at hole 1) they win will count and the next certificate will go to the runner up on the next won hole.

There are several certificates for Eagle/ace bounty. These are grouped together to increase the chances of them being won. In the event of an eagle all players who contributed a shot will receive a certificate. All eagles and aces will be awarded.

Hey all I wanted to float an idea for the pizza giveaways at the tournament. Rather than doing a traditional ctp or eagle/ace bounty i was thinking of taking advantage of a few holes on the Parma putter course and doing a mini putting game during lunch. This would involve 3 holes each with its own set of "rules" for scoring. I thought this might be more fun and give more players the opportunity to win. I would be open to a $5 cash buy in as well, to be distributed amongst the top 3 players along with certificates for free food, which will be good at any Mark's pizzeria.

Please take a moment to let me know what you think, if you have any suggestions, or if you would prefer a more traditional way of awarding the certificates. The putting game would be individual so both partners would not have to participate if only one wants to play.

We have opened up registration to 84 people. We will be creating three temp holes to accommodate for 84 total players. This will be a hard cap as we do not want to make 3 team cards! So, as of now, there are spots for 3 more teams. We will create a custom layout on uDisc for score keeping and for navigating the temp holes.
