Maybe a better explanation than that.. the digital scored said the lead card completed hole 10, and even if you take away hole 5 as not actually being played, that is 9 holes. It’s whatever, as it doesn’t really change much for me. Just trying to understand as a certified official.

There are some openings in the FA divisions but most likely won't be reallocated because we typically don't have cards with both FA and MA players. There are a handful of spots beyond those which we will look to add in soon.

We are not eligible for WGE this year as we do not offer every applicable F-division. We felt that offering every single amateur F-division would be detrimental to the overall tournament experience. We will be providing our feedback to WGE organizers and are hoping for more TD flexibility in the future.

I see this was already asked and answered, thanks for the repeat.. Here's the message I sent via PDGA "Contact Us" if there's a better contact, please let me know. And, in case any other women would like to write a similar note, here's what I sent: The OTB Amateur Weekend is a featured event due to its connection to the Pro Tour. As such it is an event that Women should be encouraged to play, & supported in playing, not discouraged from playing by its exclusion from the WGE. Excluding this event from the WGE punishes me for participating in and discourages me from participating in a Premier/ Premier-adjacent event. Of course I want to participate in the WGE. Of course I want to participate in this Premier event. How can this, the tournament most attended by women outside of women only tournaments not be included in the WGE? I have been given the reason, that it doesn't include all divisions, but neither does it preclude anyone from joining if they would like to participate. There are no rating minimums. I appreciate that we want to encourage more inclusion. Excluding this event, however, in no way encourages more inclusion, instead it punishes those of us willing to take the same stage as the Pros and compete for a chance to play side by side with the best female players in the world. This Premier-adjacent event also allows women of any rating to play the same course as the Pros, encouraging us to continue to grow the sport within the sport. Please reconsider and include this event in the WGE, for example, based on an exception in reference to its association with the larger Pro Tour event.
